These clear plastic dividers appear to be sturdy and durable. They are tear resistant by the virtue of the full plastic construction. The colored tabs are bright and vivid. These have no tab inserts to deal with. You simply design and print your labels on a sheet of paper using the 16740 template from the Avery.com/print website. Insert the printout in the sheet protector provided and place it at the back of the plastic dividers such that the labels would show through the clear dividers.These plastic dividers hold up very well and are completely reusable by printing a new label sheet to be placed in the sheet protector. The only drawback is the high price. I can't imagine buying these for school work when there are other alternatives that cost far less. These are probably best suited to professional work where presentation is paramount. That said, if you have a strong need for premium plastic dividers that are easy to label and reuse, these will work nicely for you.
