This target is a piece of junk. If I can download the pics, you will see for yourself. It is basically a CARDBOARD BOX, stuffed with rags, with a target cover pulled over it. I have not even taken it out of the box. When I opened the box, the bottom of the target was clearly not fastened together. The whole bottom seam is just hanging open, revealing the CARDBOARD BOX that is the main body of the target, with loose staples hanging off the separated edges. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this purchase, and more importantly, how disappointed my daughter, who was SO looking forward to practicing her archery, is with this junk. Now I have to try and return this worthless junk and wait for another target to arrive before she can practice. I can’t believe that the Morrell company will allow something like this to be sold with their name so prominently displayed on the target. I will update this review after dealing with customers service to return this POJ, and to download pics if I am unable to now.UPDATE: Returning this product was as easy as most usually are with Amazon. No problems at all where that was concerned. Still haven’t figured out how to add photos...

I sent this email to the company: 'I just received this target and when I opened the box I found that almost all of the staples are not punched in properly. Very few of them are inserted into the material below and one was completely off. I have a small child and dog and concerned about their safety. Any thoughts?'. They responded that this is normal and the staples are through each layer. This is absolutely not the case as the staples are barely through the first layer. I was surprised with the quality of the product but even more surprised with their response.

Buyer should be aware that youth bow and arrows will bounce off the target. I bought Crosman Elkhorn Jr. Compound Bow on Amazon. Says it shoots 17-21 lbs. Arrows would bounced off the target. If I bought sharper hunting type arrows would probably work great but then wouldn’t be safe enough to let my grandkids use it.

It is durable but after about 100 arrows it needs a fresh target to tape on it. I imagine the arrows will eventually go through, but that has not happened yet. But remember a good backstop. Build a good back stop and never shoot alone. Two or more can keep a better watch for anything wondering into the arrow flight path.

We love this! Got it for my son birthday. Multiple people was shooting this. Ages 4-33. It’s gonna last a LONG time. It says 30lb draw I believe..... Let me start with saying FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND COMPANIES GUIDELINES. Or will negate any warranty they have. Because im sure THEY WILL KNOW if you missed used it!!! With that said I personally have traditional Mongolian 65lb draw bow. I was shooting it about 15-20 ft. You won’t get the Impact force as you would if you was farther away. BUT if you just starting and this is the bow your using or the draw pound average this isn’t a bad bag to start with. Helps get ur aim and that good stuff perfected or at least better before going and spending a couple hundred dollars on a target!

I purchased for my daughter and it was a great price. Unfortunately my daughter lost interest after 2 uses and it currently serves as a gate to keep my kittens down their hallway.

The target is not completely visible on this thing. The 2 and 1 ring are basically on the side of the target. Not that your aiming at the 1 or 2, but when shooting a bow like the genesis that has no sight you go off the target and here this can limit the archer if they are adjusting from that far over. Plus if I am paying for a target why am I not getting the whole target exposed?

The size is great because in my opinion it is not too small, nor is it too big, but for the size the weight pretty good and you can easily store it in the trunk of a small car so carrying it around from place to place isn't an issue at all. It has both a front and a back side which is different and doesn't tip when you shoot it.Great target for the price, definitely would recommend for beginners.
