Good biography
Good biography of this remarkable woman of science. As many writters, this author presents a moving and interesting reading. Don't forget the main Marie Curie's biography written by Eve Curie.

Not for Adults
I thought this was the new book on Marie Curie that received a rave. Later I found out that the book I wanted was Obsessive Genius:The Inner World of Marie. This one is OK for kids, but not for adults and it is not very accurate.

Marie Curie: and the Science of Radioactivity by Naomi Pasachoff
I recommend it as a concise but fairly complete coverage of Marie Curie's life. I have other books about her, one of which is much more detailed, and they all have some good points. The more detailed one is by Susan Quinn. I do like the Pasachoff book because it covers most of the ground that is in the Quinn one but has the advantage of being concise. I am particularly trying to get a picture of Marie as a person, to modify the image of her as a single-minded scientist. This Pasachoff book does deal well with her as a person.
