My Maytag washer was made in the ‘80’s and needed a new water inlet valve. I was skeptical at first that this part would work, but I was pleasantly surprised. No issues installing, it worked out perfectly for my machine model # A104.

I took a chance because this looked similar to my broken valve from my GE washing machine, model number WCVH6800J2WW. That valve part number is WH13X10023 and is $120 online. This valve fits and works perfectly. The original valve has the solenoids on the top. With this one you just have to remove the bracket. It mounts flipped over with the solenoids on the bottom. The wires are long enough to reach, there is no interference with anything, and the hose fits perfectly onto the barbed end. The valve is a perfect fit even down to the little screw that holds it in place. My washing machine is back to working perfectly after my hot water solenoid burned out and I couldn't wash on anything but cold. Super happy with this pleasant surprise!

I bought this for my 40 year old Kenmore Ultra Fabric Care , Model 110 washing machine. The price for my exact ,model part was 27.00 at its lowest I could find and this was sold for 6 or 7 dollars and looked to be comparable to the same size and build I needed. So I decided to buy it and see and save myself 20 bucks. The screws didn't line up exactly so I used wire to fastened it into place. Haven't had a problem with my washer since. I'm convinced she'll last my lifetime now. The part was perfectly made. No leaks, easy to install,fit perfect and not a squeak out of it. It fit my washer and my wallet.

I didn't notice that my washer inlet valve had 4 wires on it, and this item only has connections for 2. But I installed it anyway, and it is working fine. Probably just not regulating the water temperature as precisely, but we don't really care!

Installing this water inlet valve immediately resolved my problem (my washer had continued to fill with hot water, even with the washer unplugged). Valve replacement took less than 30 minutes! And, this part was considerably less expensive than the equivalent part from Whirlpool and other distributors. I'm very satisfied.

It worked with my very old GE washing machine. The mounting bracket was completely different from my existing setup, but only required drilling 2 holes to get it mounted. The electrical connector blades were a little too wide to fit the existing connector sockets, so a little grinding with the dremel was needed to get them narrow enough to plug in. The item does what it's supposed to do, and no more constant water dripping. The price of this item was spot on (less than $9).
