Waited a FULL YEAR to review . . . . .
UPDATE . . . . SEPTEMBER 2022 - So far, I am EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THESE WHEELS. THEY HAVE PERFORMED ABOVE EXPECTATIONS. I HAVE CYCLED ABOUT 500 miles this summer and I have NO COMPLAINTS. I HAVEN"T HAD ANY ISSUES WITH THE PADS (I opted and paid for better pads when I had them installed). Assuming they're still being manufactured the same way, I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again. After reading several reviews and mentally going back and forth for weeks, I finally pulled the trigger on these wheels (September, 2020). Glad I did! I am extremely happy with my purchase. Here's my experience: Due to the madness in the shipping industry because of the pandemic, it took almost 3 months for my wheels to arrive. I knew they were coming from overseas so the lengthy wait was expected anyway. Upon arrival, I took them to my bike guy and was met with a questionable stare. He stated "you know these are from China, right?". I informed him that I read numerous reviews and was willing to try them out. Against his wishes, he installed the wheels. They instantly made my bike look great and my aura as a cyclist skyrocketed. The included hub(s) sound very clear and serve as a "heads up" as you approach others from behind. FTR, I am a VERY BASIC rider. I ride an average of 60 miles a week. I now have over 1000 miles on these wheels and they have performed BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY. Believe me when I say that. I am 105 kg (230 lbs) and these wheels have held firm. The wheels are over a year old but you can barely notice the wear lines around the area where the brake pads meet the wheel. I am very satisfied with these superteam wheels and I WOULD NOT HESITATE to buy them again. If you're on the fence, don't be. You'll definitely get your money's worth (assuming manufacturer has maintained same level of quality and assembly). On a final note, if you're the type of cyclist that likes to look "cool" and having top tier brands is an absolute must for you, then you'll probably skip these. For guys like me, it's more than enough and an excellent bang for your buck item.

Great wheels for the money
If you are considering these wheels, but are unsure if they are really for you, I understand how you feel. If you also agonize between these wheels and something more expensive (e.g., Zipp), I completely understand you because only two weeks ago I was agonizing the same way. Without further due a few points of my 2-week and 300-mile-long experience. Out of the box The wheels present well; sharp, modern, and true. A few spokes extra (perhaps with a reason), a manual, valve extension, a set of brake pads, and that is it. If you are still unsure if you have made a right choice, please do not read the manual. The lack of quality of good English in the manual could undermine your trust in the wheels. The wheel tape is already in place and you do not have to do anything about it. Riding impressions Not bad at all. The wheels are relatively fast and comfortable. Started with about 100 psi; a nice and smooth ride. Cross winds will put pressure on the wheels due to their wider/deeper profile, but nothing extra-ordinary. Strongly recommend buying 80-mm long valves and forget about using the extenders provided with the product. The sounds Regular pedaling sound is on a louder side, but not too loud and you will get used of it rather quickly. The coasting sound is also on a louder side, but rather pleasant at the same time. The braking noise - if you like the sound of the dentist drill, you will love this sound too. Braking My only experience has been under the dry weather. Not great with the pads that came with the wheels, but doable. Getting new, apparently better, brake pads for carbon wheels. Riding under wet conditions is an enigma for me at this point. Longevity The first three hundred miles are just a drop in a bucket and insufficient to make any predictions in terms of the longevity. Time will tell. Overall If you are having low quality wheels, these wheels will be a quick, substantial, and inexpensive upgrade. If you are setting your eyes on a more expensive carbon, keep looking though this could be a temporary set to meet your immediate needs. If the money is tight, these wheels are great.

so far they are great
just got them today fully inspected them my self and had my shop do a 2nd inspection some of the most true wheels i have and dont have any problems so far i will update this review as i add miles to the wheels i ride any where from 100-1000 miles a week so we will see how they hold up :D *edit* took them for there first ride about 40 miles and they worked great breaking was a little funky but i have not tuned them to the wheels yet to that part is fine *edit* well i now have about 1500 miles on them and still work amazing no problems spokes are all still tight and wheels still spin true. that have survived my last 100 mile race and work great for higher TT speeds still a strong 5 star *edit* 2000+ miles now the wheels are still great only now are they loosing a very small amount of there truness? is that a word? idk and some of the spokes need a little bit of tightening and you can now see on the break line small patches of wear and tear but past that they still work great no problems at all i still recommend this wheel set to any one who is looking for a good entree grade carbon wheels or something more aero *edit* well 5000 miles and still holding up very clear that the spokes need tightening and it has lost its 100% trueness? still dont know if thats a word but its still a good 98% true for the wheels. i did run in to a problem with the breaking i had stopped to take a picture of the bike i have it on here as well and you can see the front wheel is a little in the sand well i found out very quickly after hopping back on the bike that the breaking had some thing very wrong so hopped off and looked at the break lines and the sand had stuck to the carbon in a way and just ripped up the carbon break area i was able to fix it but just a little heads up for that but even then still amazing wheels for the time i have used them i am finally going to disk brake wheels for my new road bike so this should be my final edit for the superteam carbon fiber wheels in the end ill give em a good 9/10 worth the money

Don’t hesitate, great rims. UPDATED over 4K miles and still doing great.
After reading the reviews, I figured I’ll give them a shot, and glad I did. Put on 218 miles on these rims week one and so far so good. I’ve gained about 2 MPH only average and can feel the difference a over 20mph compared to my old Aksum Race rims. Was wondering about hubs, but roll real nice with very little resistance. The guys I ride with thought these were high dollar rims and even said, they are probably made by same folks that make higher end wheels..... I’m not one for names to get excited. When mounting, get yourselves thin flat spoons, I got a set with the continental race tubes I bought. Will be challenging to mount with conventional spoons. Also, I went with 80MM valves, could get away with 60’s. Get a little whirl noise from the stems, but I can deal. I did wrap stem with electric tape to stop the valve tap. Will keep on updating as I put on more mileage, but as of now, thumbs up and will get a set for my other bike. _________________________________________ August 26 19 update: I have about 700 miles on these now. I had a few spokes on rear wheel loosen up. Tightened them up, and since I don't have truing machine, still have a very slight wobble, nothing that is felt when riding and not bad enough to cause brake pad rub. Still satisfied with purchase. ——————————————— Update July 30 2020.... been riding on these rims for months now, been on 3 of my bikes, and have over 4000 miles on them. Good as gold! Even on roads that are not so smooth. Hubs rolling like new, freewheel holding up well. Very minimal wear on braking surface. No breakdown of the carbon. Will certainly but another set soon!

Not Zipp Wheels
Great for the money but I don't know how long they'll last. The are light, seem well made and look fantastic. A little loud but no complaints on performance.

A worthy upgrade if you have the right expectations
I have a 2010 Trek 2.3. I had upgraded it over the years but it was looking 'old' with the 23c tires, natural aluminum colored rims, and the bundle of cables hanging off the front of the handlebars. I bought these to do one thing only, update the look of my bike. It definitely did that. They look absolutely fantastic and are worth every penny even before I talk about performance. I started with upgraded Mavic Aksium rims with cheap 23c training tires, which are a cheap update but were very lightweight and functioned very well. I bought these rims and added cheap 28c training tires. I did the same 36 miles route 2 days in a row, one with the old rims and one with the new. I also tried to control my heart rate so I wouldn't subconsciously 'try harder' one day over the next. Very unscientific and subjective results but long story short I finished the route with the new rims 8 minutes faster of the 36 miles. The results indicated I was able to ride faster with less effort. I actually think this is due to what you would not expect. Between the two wheelsets, I think the old wheels with smaller tires and purposely lightweight tubes are lighter than my new wheel/tire/tube combo. I felt like I was descending faster and once I got up to speed, I could carry that speed longer up the next hill before having to change gears. Maybe my theory is bad, but the wheels made a positive difference after one longer ride. One tip, when I switched over to the new rims, I took the 10 speed cassette off the old wheels and use it on the new. When I moved it I did not move over the spacer that allows the 10 speed cassette to be used on the 11 speed freehub. That was a mistake. The spacer between the two wheelsets were not the same size causing the new chain to make a strange noise when pedaling. I could have adjusted the rear derailleur to fix this, but I choose to just switch over the spacer from the old wheel to the new wheel and that fixed it. Just FYI. UPDATE: Please take the time to read some of the 1-star reviews and understand the limitations of this wheelset. Your safety very much depends on it. I live in the rolling hills (not mountains) of the Midwest. These wheels work wonderfully here with no issues at all. I still intend to put many many miles on them. If you ride in the mountains, or intend to do so with this wheelset, DO NOT BUY THESE RIMS. Long, mountainous descents with brakes applied can cause the bead to overheat and bulge or even shatter.

Initially a good product...until the hub failed
I was hoping to write a positive review for these wheels because they are lightweight and were overall faster than my previous set. I totally agree with all of the concerns about braking, but since I live in the midwest this wasn't a major concern. No mountains in my weekly workout. The problem for me occurred at the end of my first season with these wheels when the hub completely failed. My LBS said I needed a new hub, bearings, the works. Total cost for repair = $200. When I reached out to Superteam, they said it wasn't their concern despite the fact that the posting says the wheels have a two-year warranty. If you only need one season for your wheels, I guess these are for you. Definitely wish Superteam would have supported their product, but that wasn't my experience.

A Game Changer for My Cycling Experience!
I have been an avid cyclist for 9 years, and I recently had the pleasure of upgrading to the Superteam carbon fiber bike wheels. Let me tell you, these wheels have been an absolute game-changer for my riding experience over the past 10 months! I was turned onto these by a guy riding cyclocross on these with 32mm tires at a MTB park, he said he's been riding them for years and haven't needed to true them. Right from the moment I installed them on my bike, I noticed an immediate difference. The first thing that struck me was how incredibly lightweight they are. The carbon fiber construction makes a world of difference in reducing rotational weight, allowing me to accelerate with ease and climb the small hills of Florida effortlessly. It feels like I have a jet engine on my bike! Moreover, the aerodynamic design of these wheels has significantly improved my overall speed. I've noticed that I can maintain higher velocities without expending as much energy, making long rides much more enjoyable and less exhausting. The reduced wind resistance has been a blessing during those intense sprints, giving me the confidence to push my limits. Another remarkable aspect of the Superteam carbon fiber wheels is their stiffness and responsiveness. Cornering feels stable, and the wheels track flawlessly, even on rough roads. The enhanced power transfer ensures that every ounce of energy I put into pedaling is utilized efficiently, resulting in a noticeable boost in performance. Let's not forget about the durability of these wheels. Despite enduring various challenging terrains and occasional bumps, they have shown no signs of wear or compromise. It's evident that Superteam has invested in quality materials and craftsmanship to create a product that withstands the test of time. The stylish appearance of these wheels also deserves a mention. They have garnered numerous compliments during group rides, and it's always satisfying to know that my bike looks as good as it performs. In conclusion, the Superteam carbon fiber bike wheels have transformed my cycling experience for the better. The combination of lightweight design, improved aerodynamics, and excellent durability make these wheels worth every penny. If you're a serious cyclist looking to take your rides to the next level, I highly recommend giving these wheels a try. You won't be disappointed! Happy cycling! 🚴♂️💨
