Hanes Relaxed Fit Women's ComfortSoft® V-neck T-Shirt

I was looking for a Tshirt in a specific color to expand my summer wardrobe and so I chose this shirt. I was expecting it to be a nice shirt as it's a Hanes and their products are usually good quality. However, this shirt is cut very oddly- its a vneck and the neckhole is very small. to add to that, there are strange gathers around the neck as though they use the same size neckhole and neck binding no matter what the size shirt- the neck is not proportionate to the shirt. I ordered a larger size than I normally wear because I wanted it to be relaxed and oversized and the fit is very boxy. Also, the fabric is a very rough and synthetic feeling material. It does not feel like a typical soft cotton/poly blend. I question if it is actually made by Hanes or some sort of counterfeit although I've never heard of fake Hanes clothing being passed around. I would not recommend this shirt. I will keep it and hope that it gets softer with many washes, and wear it around the house, but I will continue my search for the perfect vneck Tshirt.

The shirt has kind of a weird shape to it. The shoulders are really boxy and the v-neck sits up too high so it's uncomfortable. Material is fine and I have no issues about the actual quality of the material, just the weird shape.

I like this roomy shirt. The fabric is not clingy or see through. They do shrink if put in the dryer, however.

When I purchased this shit, I was looking for a close-fitting tee that wasn't too tight, perhaps for casual wear with jeans. This tee is sized with a relaxed fit for working out or lounging. I was initially not going to purchase the item because other reviewers stated that the shirt was sized to small or too tight, but I didn't find that at all. I could have probably used a smaller size. Just keep in mind that the fit is relaxed, not tailored. For the price, I would certainly repurchase this shirt.
