3 Urethane Band Saw Tires for 16" Delta 28-560 and 28-540 Band Saw - Wood Speed

I have an old Delta 28-560 circa 1994. I have never needed to re-saw so this three wheeler worked great for the few curved cuts, tenons or cut-offs I needed in my woodworking. The 28-560 has collected more dust versus making saw dust over the years. I just finished giving it a cleaning and maintenance tune up - where I replaced the rubber tires with urethane tires and drive belt from Sulphur Grove Tool. How tos on YouTube show how difficult it is to replace the tires on a band saw and there are many misleading approaches. I was not looking forward to wrestling and the hassle of putting the new tires on the wheels. I bought this 3 piece set from Amazon via Sulphur Grove Tool and it arrived promptly and as described. Getting Delta parts for 1990s stationary tools is hit or miss in 2020. Great to have a supplier like this. Sulphur Grove Tool included a tire installation instruction card with their website which contained video instructions on how to build a simple band saw tire installation jig with a scrap piece of 2X4, 7/16" dowel (I used a half inch dowel) and 1/2 inch PVC pipe - all in my spare parts bin here on the farm. Simple and easy installation of the tires with this jig. It made the tire install very easy. Go to https://sgtool.com/videos/ and view the first video. Kudos to Sulphur Grove Tool on a quality product for a vintage Delta band saw and equally important great instructions and a video on how to make a difficult task easy. Install worked great and I am again making saw dust with my old 1994 Delta 28-560. Highly recommended.
