I don't embroider but realized that I can make an earring holder with a hoop and some cheesecloth. If you're going to display your art inside the hoop, rest assured that the wood and hardware are pretty enough to hang on a wall. I like that the hardware is gold, which matches my door knobs. Most hoops have silver.

I wasn't impressed with the wider version of this embroidery hoop. I found it clunky and the edges are not rounded. It's huge in width. If you stitch on nice linen like I do then then thinner hoops are best. I thought I would love it, I don't. It is certainly well made, I also bought the thinner version and I like that just fine.

This is an excellent hoop, very solid construction and tremendously better than the cheap hoops I've purchased in craft stores. The brass hardware is a bit hard for my arthritic hands to adjust so I have to use a screwdriver to tighten the hoop.

I bought this to frame a completed cross-stitch project -- I wanted something nicer than the craft stores cary, and this size is rare enough to find online and in stores. Although the price is much higher than bamboo hoops, the look and feel of this beautiful hoop is worthy of the price and makes for a much better display piece.

Well made. I am pleased with the Nurge embroidery hoop. They truly are a premium wood hoop. You will be happy with the great little hoop!

The iem I purchased was a No. 2 sized frame, but I reveived No. 3. It's still usable and not worth the return process, but it's bigger than what I was looking for/expecting.

My old hands needed the extra thickness and quality of this hoop. Buying more
