I like that most of my neck is covered but, I wish it was full coverage. I didn’t know it was going to have a split in the back right in the middle of the back of my neck. (See photo). I guess some coverage is better than none so I’ll keep it and hope it works out in the summer months. The mask part is just ok but a bit too tight across the bridge of my nose and under my eyes so I just removed it (it unsnaps) and I’ll wear my regular face mask. The last thing I didn’t like was it arrived extra extra wrinkled so I had to carefully iron it on a cool setting so the fabric didn’t burn. I do like that the hat is a tri-fold so I can tuck it away in my dog walking bag. It’s light weight and just ok. I’ll keep it but, I won’t purchase another one like I planned to. I wanted to see if I’d like the first one. I’ll shop elsewhere for a better one something that’ll fully cover my neck when I’m walking my dog when it’s sunny outside.

The cap was super tight, tight as in "squeezing" not "cool". The mount guard part was completely useless unless its for a child. You'll either suffocate from it going up your nose, or have it slide past your nose and whip you in the eyes faster than you can close them.The back flap area has a small divot in the neck making it look like the things Japanese soldiers had back in WWII. Being Asian, I can't sport this without looking like I'm cosplaying a soldier. Being Chinese, I can't wear this without getting spat on or jumped in my neighborhood 😔The only good sun protection you'll get is from the front, since the divot in the back will give you a small triangle of sunburn if you're in the sun for too long. And since the face guard doesn't work, you'll be hit by sun from the sides too.

The gap for adjustment needs to be covered somehow. ( I don't have a lot of hair back there.) I took the face mask and snapped it on the back of the hat then tacked it in place so it would stay there (wind). The neck protector also has a gap so I tacked that shut also. I will try it out this weekend, boat fishing.

This is the best option I have found to date to really protect my face while spending hours in the sun running long distance. The mesh panel makes it breathable, everything is adjustable.. love it. Ordered one and will order more.

i bought this right after my dad had his third round of skin cancer. while I have been fine thus far, I have noticed that no amount of sunscreen stops everything.i therefore bought this hat.this little hat and its cape cover many of the areas that were getting more tanned than the rest.one does rather need to button the "cape" so that it doesn't flap, and I don't know how cool this will be on longer runs in the summer, but for now, this protects my skin and is most comfortable.plus is comes in a cheerful pink color.
