Are these probiotics refrigerated at all times while they are being stored?

When you buy them at the health food store they are refrigerated so I have always kept them in the frig. They aren't refrigerated during shipment however. I'm also not sure if the box says they need to be refrigerated so I guess I'm not too helpful. Sorry
