Awful cable noise
These actually sound very good as far as audio using Sony's balanced output (I'm using and adapter from 4.4mm to 2.5mm) and a pair of Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 Pros but the wire noise on these is unbearable. They are fairly stiff cables and the outside jacket rubbing against your clothes or when moving your head transmits so much loud cable noise that it truly ruins these. It's not a minor issue - even trying to sit still or keep the cable away it's impossible not to hear the loud noise and especially if you have a good seal using IEM's like the UE Triple Fi 10 Pros.Of five pair I ordered these were the least impressive in build quality. The connection to the UE 10 Pro earpieces was not tight or very secure though they stayed in while I was sitting down listening.I wouldn't recommend these based on cable noise alone though.

Unfortunately a bad cable
Unfortunately this cable disconnects from the ear speaker easily and curls up repeatedly - I don't recommend buying this cable
