Physical Geography: The Global Environment

I don't get what geography has to do with religions, If I want to learn some about religion I just get a religious book, make sense?

This book was exactly what I needed for my class, and came in great condition. The rental period was long enough that it covered the entire semester without needing to extend it

Good product, nothing wrong. Came in a reasonable manner.

The textbook is tediously wordy with engaging graphics and images, an interesting combination.

I have taught Earth Science with this book and I think it is excellent, both for the teacher and the student. I find that there is great variation in quality of maps across Earth Science books, and in this book the images and maps are better than others. I think this enhances the ability of my students to grasp the information. The units (chapters) are fairly short, and there are enough of them to cover one per day in a MWF course. Alternatively in a two day per week course there are many topics to choose from, so you can decide what you want to cover or not cover. I found the provided teaching materials to be high quality but it is also easy to incorporate your own lecture materials with this book.

This book is awful. It’s written in a way where you have to read two full pages to understand a concept that can be explained in one sentence. Plus, the review questions at the end of each chapter are horrible, and not always tied to the reading.
