IRWINTools MARATHON Carbide Table/Miter Circular Blade, 10-Inch, 80T (14076)

For years I was using $100+ industrial ripping blades and having them sharpened every 3-4 months. I cut a lot of thick hardwoods! On one occasion when a blade I'd ordered was on back-order, I had my apprentice grab one of these at the big box to use temporarily. It ended up staying on the saw for almost 4 months. Now I just use 3-4 of these a year, which saves me the cost and drop off/pick up of sharpening. I haven't used them for anything else, so I can't comment on any performance other than glue line ripping, but I love them for ripping!

This is my first Irwin bade and I am pleasantly surprised. I was using a 20T Craftsman combination blade that was still very sharp but the feed felt slower than I wanted. I got this Marathon blade on a whim and it zips through pine and plywood with virtually no resistance. It is very thin, I couldn't even tighten the nut far enough as the threads stopped the nut on the shaft. Had to make a washer fit just to tighten it up. Not a big deal. Inexpensive blade that does a great job. It can wander a bit as it is so thin, but it makes your table saw act like it has twice the horse power.

What an excellent blade! Worth every penny. Even thought I had to buy the ShopSmith arbor adaptor, this blade is so thin with an insane amount of teeth, the cuts are perfect and SO smooth that you barely need sanding.

I mounted this 10" blade on my trusty Craftsman table saw, using 4" stabilizer washers and switched it on. Immediate run out (lateral movement) was noted. It cut well but had wider kerf than if it ran true. Chinese.

I was about to undertake building a desk out of ash and figured it was time to replace my table saw blade. What a difference. I was able to rip boards and then glue them up straight off the table saw without using a jointer. Great blade for the money wouldn't hesitate to get another one when it is time.

My husband asked for supplies to stock his new garage. He seems to like the blade it was the first one he put on his new circular saw.

I can't get these blades at this price at my local hardware stores! These were ten dollars less at Amazon even without the manufacture discount, plus the free Prime shipping makes this a real deal! I bought two, I would've bought more, except that I have been using these Marathon Blades for many years and they last a very long time, unless you happen to cut a piece of wood with a nail in it. I like the thin kerf and the smooth cutting, these carbide blades are the best I have ever used!

I worked as a professional carpenter for 20 years, I've been a builder and now an executive. But I still piddle with woodwork around the house. I tried out about every blade on the marker and none of them performed any better than the Marathon. This blade actually out performs blades costing 2x, 3x,and 4x the money. Can't say enough about these blades. I have them on all my saws and use them with both soft and hard woods.

arrived ahead of time!!!! good saw for the price!!!! good buy .Works fine on my table saw good clean cut every time....fit perfectly my shaft on my table saw!!!no problem to fix in place and lock it...

Well I will say you get what you pay for. I was expecting a thinner kerf. The blade cuts but not what I wanted. Buyer be where.If the kerf was a bit thinner it would be better.

Good quality for the price

This is a great saw blade. It is noticeable thinner than conventional blade. So leave u a thiner kerfe. Cuts very fine even on the cross cut of a 1/2 plywood. Cuts trough a screw without intention but the blade just show no wear.
