I came down with that epilepsy several years ago. It requires a lot of medications throughout the day. This product has been a total lifesaver!I no longer have to wonder when was the last time I took my medicine.The lid displays the last time I open the bottle, letting me know if I missed a dose or forgot one!The lid has an alarm easy to set up system with beeps to remind you to take your pills. This is great in the morning. I can wake to long enough to take my pill on time.This is easy to use, and I can see the day and time I last opened the bottle, s well as per-schedule multiple alarms 7 days a week. Ît it can work on a standard pharmacy prescription bottle, but I prefer to pick up my prescriptions and the night before and follow the alarms the next day.Because sick people are often on tight budget, I think this makes a great gift for anyone who is on daily medications. I almost missed out, because I didn't want to spend the money. This has saved me many times.

They work well if they fit the bottle, but the mechanism gave out on 2/6 after a year and a half. On the ones that failed, I had to open and close them several times to get them to beep. Not sure when you took that headache pill? These caps know. These do not work with the common prescription vial, but they work fine with the included bottles, and many medications are shipped to pharmacies in bottles that fit these. If your pharmacist gives you a prescription in that bottle these caps are great.

I used this for timed medicines and alarms for the medicine. The timers and alarms can be difficult to set, but the directions are okay to get that done if you're good at that sort of thing. The alarm goes off for about 1 minute and then stops on it's own. It flashes if unopened and an alarm has gone off. I wish the alarm would go off for longer.The function that's the most useful is that it shows the time and day of the week that it was last opened. They're heavy caps with light bottom pill bottles so they tend to be top-heavy. The caps don't stay on very well if in a purse, so not recommended for daily travel, it's more for home use. As is mentioned, they're not child safe so good for older people with arthritis.

I love these medicine bottles I have been using the for years every since they came out. You always know when your last pill or medication was taken It is a godsend as I get older. The prices as gotten steep since 10 years ago but it your go ahead and purchase the three pack it makes them about $33 each, about the price of a watch. So it you look at it that way they are not so expensive for complete peace of mind. And remember you will know you have taken your medication and so will your Doctor and you can share that with him knowing you are right. The quality is great as mine have lasted all these years. But to have to spend $100 dollars for three pill bottles is steep, but remember last years, and you never forget your bloodpressure medication. Once you set them you only have to change them for daylight it savings time forward or backward. Really easy. The design is great your just look and the top and it tell you all you need to know. These are very sturdy, easy to open and close and last practically forever.

I began by using 2 of the 3 timers, one stopped working within approx 2 months. I tried the remaining timer and it doesn't work at all....No reply from seller on return/exchange.

Works well enough but does not fit any standard pill container. Changing batteries requires a .micro screw driver. So all in all not a great value for the price I paid

Verdict still out. Not easy for an elderly person, the intended user.

I am using the e-pill TimeCap to keep track of my medications that I take on an irregular schedule. I keep track of these meds on a spreadsheet but sometimes I forget to record a dose or I record it then get distracted and forget if I have taken the pill. This TimeCap has made it so much safer for me to take those PRN medications. If you are forgetful or easily distracted you need this device!
