This cape was perfect for a Red Riding Hood costume! I loved the way that the hood ties and drapes over the shoulders. The material is not too heavy, but substantial enough not to tear. I am 5'3", and this was a good length for me.

The material isn't the best quality but better than most. It is just a tiny bit see through but this isn't an issue.It's not shiny like other red capes I've seen, which is nice and the hoodie is pretty large, making it able to fit all types/ages of people.

This is a great buy for the price. It is a super thin cheap material, but its soft and held up after I wore it twice for several hours. The Red is a perfect bright red. The stitching on the drawstring around the neck started to unravel fast, but that is to be expected.

Just received this and there is a 4-5 inch rip at the seam. Such a bummer! I can't return it because I need it for school on Monday.

It is about what you would expect for the price. The quality of the material is not great. It is a soft light/medium weight polyester. It drapes nicely about the head and shoulders. I am 5 foot and it comes to about mid-calf. The seam between the hood and the rest of the cape was already fraying and torn right out of the package. Not the greatest of quality control ,but it served the one day costuming purpose for which it was bought. If you want something that you would like to use more than once then spend the money on something more durable. If you only need it for one night and want something nicer than the plasticy feeling ones you get at those pop-up Halloween stores; this will fit the bill.

This was essentially what I expected, given the low cost. There was a hole in the seam where the hood meets the cape in the back, so that was frustrating - no one wants to have to mend a brand new item right out of the bag. Also, it's just cut material - the edges aren't finished with a hem or anything -- doesn't seem like it will fray, but still, if you're expecting high quality, this is not it, but you won't find high quality for this bargain price. It works well enough for what I need it for! (Also, for ideas on fit - I am just under 5'2", and the cape falls below the back of my knees, almost to mid-calf -- and covers my shoulders like the picture indicates, and like a cape should.)

I was Red Riding Hood for Halloween and since I already had a dress(my Alice in Wonderland dress )from last Halloween minus the pinafore,I didn't want to buy a whole Red Riding Hood costume,so I just needed to red cloak . This cloak was perfect,the hood was a bit big,but a clip or bobby fixes that .On a side note even though it's for an adult it is a cute dress up for kids because my five year old niece wore it a week ago.

I bought this cape for my 10-year-old who wants to be Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween. The child-sized capes I found on Amazon were all either more money than I wanted to spend for something worn on one day out of the year, or had a shipping date that was "iffy" for getting here in time for Halloween (despite that Halloween was over a month away). Another concern I had with the child capes was the length; they seemed like they were designed for very young children (ages 3-8). It was a risk getting this cape since the picture shows an adult male. It is perfect and hits her at the ankles. Not high quality, but definitely good enough for my use. If you are wanting a long cape for a child age 8 and up, it should work well for you.
