It's exactly as a description said it is durable it is waterproof and it is doing exactly what I needed it for and if you have an infestation problem it does keep them out but it is highly suggested to keep the plastic on your bed and put this cover over it as well.

Ordered a twin but it was bigger than a normal twin.

The smell on this mattress cover is absolutely the worst chemical smell I have smelled ! :( gagging !

It is exactly what you need to protect your mattress

My experience with this mattress cover has been overall very positive. It is thick enough to be 100% waterproof while thin enough to not make the annoying plastic noise or make the bed uncomfortable to sleep in. i hardly notice it at all when a sheet is over top. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is that I have had the product rip when changing the bed sheets. However the trade off in durability vs sleep comfort is worth the small tear. This definitely is a mattress safer for parents with young children.The fit was good for a twin bed, not perfectly snug but close enough that there is no excess material on the top of the mattress. I prefer this vinyl cover to the other mattress covers that have a soft fabric layer on top as they absorb moisture which to me defeats the purpose.

This cover does not stay on the mattress for more than 2 hours. Comes off very easily and takes sheets with it, we wake up most mornings with a completely bare bed. Neither people in bed toss or turn and no foul play involved overnight. ALSO IT IS SO LOUD. If you roll over while sleeping you will be woken up by the sound of crinkling plastic. Extremely uncomfortable, loud and not at all durable. Ripped within a month of use. Not worth a penny. Do not waste your money.

I will use the mattress cover to protect a mattress at our cottage over the winter. We also tuck dryer sheets between the cover and mattress to discourage mice. This has worked well in previous years. No one is planning to use the bed during the winter so noise and/or breath ability were not factors for me.

It works, but it tears easily. I use packing tape to extend the life of it. For the price, though, it's good. And I do like that it fits a queen size bed (spinal injury, occasionally I have accidents.) For the price though, I don't mind replacing it every few months - better than the $50 one that I once had that tore after two week, at least.
