Glad I purchased this and the 24-hour method at the ...
So in-depth in its analysis, I'm writing a review based only on a thorough first reading. Started With "Guitar Head's" GUITAR FRETBOARD: MEMORIZE THE FRETBOARD IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS., and currently re-reading. But THIS book builds on concepts that make memorization much easier. There were so many "light bulb" moments just reading, I know the exercises with a metronome will really help with neck knowledge. Glad I purchased this and the 24-hour method at the same time, and hope everyone finds both books as helpful as I have. Both authors have put out an excellent prodcct.

great for veteraned or new guitarists
Short little e-book and associated web content provide just what's promised. I kept thinking while going over the exercises that if I knew someone who had fairly recently taken up playing the guitar - that they could benefit greatly from getting this groundwork done early. A truly sensible approach to understanding where and what each note on the guitar neck is. This gives way to many other fundamentals to follow

Good information for navigating the fretboard.
This book is rather small. The dimensions are about 7" by 10". Does this book teach you how to read music? No, and it does not claim to do so. It does show you the notes that correspond to each string and fret. Basically, the book gives you several tips on how to navigate around the fretboard which is helpful. I guess I was expecting "a little bit more". But, for the price, it's fine.

Excellent practical approach to learning the fretboard
I consider myself an advanced novice, learning guitar theory and trying to be more comfortable with the fretboard. I have read multiple books and this one is the best. It gave me different approaches to managing the fretboard including giving me new reference points and tips. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a more practical way to learn the fretboard.

Tablature drawings are too fine and small
A darker and larger font on the tablature exercises would be much easier to read. Learning the system and trying to play are challenging enough without having difficulty reading the exercises.

Simple and understandable.
Having Not picked up my guitars in 30 years I looked forward to the challenge. At 68 years old, I was ready to get back into it. This book is great! The basics are spelled out in simple understandable terms and the practices fit me just fine. I highly recommend it for any beginner or intermediate player.

very important when you are starting out
I am new at the guitar and found the book and the online content very helpful. You can certainly learn a lot from it. It takes time to learn and it isn't as easy as it looks but with the diagrams laid out easily it's good to use when you practice.

Get this book
Without a shadow of doubt this is one of the best books, if no the best, on memorising the fretboard. If you want to know and understand the fretboard then you should get this book. It is straight to the point. Well done, Luke.

Fantastic Book
This book is a Must Have especially for beginners. The author is a genius and I learnt all the notes will in a few days. I'm still memorizing and doing exercises in the book repeatedly so I have a photograph of the fretboard notes without having to count. Overall a great book.

Nice approach and well written, some details missing
I like the approach of creating visual representations to facilitate fretboard navigation, rather than just trying dull memorization. The book is very clearly written and structured and I extracted some neat ideas from it. However, being am intermediate guitar player I roughly new half of the book's content. Moreover, I am missing some explicit ideas on how to extend the techniques that focus solely on natural notes (I.e. no sharps etc) to all notes. Overall I would recommend the book though, also given its low price and it being a quick read.
