WalkerQuiet-Flow SS 50063 Direct Fit Exhaust Muffler Assembly 3" Inlet (ID) 3" Outlet (ID) 3" Outlet (OD) for Dodge Ram 1500

Perfect fit for my "08 Ram 1500 4x4 Quad Cab 6.3' bed with Hemi. Somewhat smaller body than the stock muffler, but the length and hanger placement all fit right. Sound is very much like the stock muffler before it broke. WAY less cost than the stock part and any other replacement I found. Had the seller packaged this better/properly, it would have arrived in excellent condition rather than simply usable with some dings.

Its stainless steel, and is an exact replacement for the stock muffler. Should last a long time too.Install is pretty simple:Position floor jack under old exhaust and raise jack to touch the muffler. Next, undo the two 3" exhaust clamps. Lube the rubber hangers with silicone lubricate (none petroleum or you'll degrade the rubber) , then remove the muffler hanger studs from them. Then wiggle the muffler free of the exhaust pipes in the front and rear (some kicking and banging required). Once free, balance the muffler on the jack, and then lower the jack. Finally pull jack (with muffler) out from the under vehicle.Install for the new muffler is in the reverse but I installed 2 new 3" clamps and new rubber hangers. I also wrap my exhaust joints with exhaust tape and coat with water-glass.Highly recommend a floor jack or a transmission jack to help install.

muffler was not packaged a lot dings & dents other than that it fitted properly
