Nice and Inexpensive way to protect your Apple Magic Keyboard 2
My job only provides hotel seating meaning I need to carry my keyboard and mouse in my backpack. After breaking a key off from it bouncing around loosely in my bag I knew I needed a better solution. I coincidentally have an Apple Magic Keyboard 2 (MLA22LL/A) and magic mouse which is exactly what this was made for. It fits the items perfectly and provides the protection they need. One thing to note, this will NOT fit the older Apple Wireless Keyboard (MC184LL/A) which is the model that takes 2 AA batteries. The manufacturer of this case doesn't claim it will fit, I just wanted to mention that in case you had that keyboard and were wondering if this case would be an option for it.

Makes Planning Travel So Much Simpler and Easier
I have a tendency to travel (work, school, or family) and a laptop or tablet sounds like a great solution for that situation. I use an iPad except I like to have a bigger screen, a wireless keyboard, and a trackpad (or any way to control the cursor) so I needed a travel case that holds a mini keyboard, an Apple Magic Trackpad 2, and just enough extra room for a (low-profile) charger and external display adapter. The Hermitshell Case is the ideal solution for the best iPad traveler experience. When I'm home I have a dedicated workstation with KB&M suited for that space and I can have a separate set for travel that I can just leave in a backpack and my iPad is a secondary device at home anyways. But when I hit the road, I just need the iPad and I have a dedicated keyboard and trackpad that are reliable and safely stored.I have a silicone sleeve for my Apple Magic Trackpad 2 to protect the edges and give better stability and grip to the base side, and it still fits in the Hermitshell case.I use a Satechi Slim X1 Bluetooth Keyboard instead of the Apple Magic Keyboard, they are similar in size and shape, but the Satechi KB is backlit, and (as expected) also fits in the Hermitshell case. I recommend looking up the dimensions of the KB you might be interested in bringing with you and comparing the dimensions of your preferred KB to the dimensions of Apple's Magic Keyboard before you buy.Bottom Line: Having a reliable KB&M to use with your devices removes complex steps from the planning process and makes life simpler, and this case turned 5 steps into just 1

This is a super item
I truly love this and it's long life in-between charges, which is a LONG time, I might add.

The reviews don’t lie. It’s a good keyboard case!
This is such a well designed product. and in case you can’t tell, I love it! Aesthetically it is quite nice. I use it for an Apple Magic Keyboard & mouse. I have had it for three months, and I find it to be compact enough to travel with. And it will not only hold and protect your devices along with cords and battery packs, but in my experience, it can stand up to the pressure of being packed with other items that are heavier in a variety of backpacks, suitcases, and other travel bags. When it is stowed away & not in use, I place other items on top of it with the mouse & keyboard inside. That is how much I trust this case. From my personal experience, based on the products I use it for, I would recommend this product.

Great Travel Case for key Mac Accessories
I got a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID (non-numeric keypad) and a Magic Mouse 2 that came with my iMac 2021. Also have the latest version Magic Trackpad 2. At times when I travel with my MacBook Pro, I want a travel solution to carry and protect the above accessories that I take along with the laptop. This HermitShell case beautifully fits this need. It has the main keyboard tray with an elastic loop which holds the keyboard in place. You will have to, of course, hold the loop stretched with one hand while placing the keyboard in and out of the tray. Keyboard definitely won't move around. My only gripe with this keyboard tray is that the well is not so deep. As you can see from the pictures, part of the keyboard still sits above the tray level. I wish the tray was 1mm - 2mm more deeper. Again, even with that gripe, the keyboard stays in it good and locked. I knocked off 1 star for that part alone. Once zipped (it has 2 zippers that I love), the case feels protective of the items inside. Even an accidental drop would not harm the accessories inside unless the case is smashed intently. And inside of the lid portion has the compartments for Mouse and Trackpad. The compartments are made of a thick mesh fabric which I think don't scratch the Mouse/trackpad. Both the items sit well in their places, though they don't or cannot have a loop mechanism to hold in place. That means they may slightly move around while traveling (more so for the mouse) but really not that much. A very small length of the trackpad will be still left showing outside but that won't bump against the keyboard when the lid is in closed position. Also, there is a wall between the trackpad and mouse compartments, so should you store the case vertically in your backpack (that is what I do), the mouse or trackpad won't have a chance to fall out and bump into each other as the wall prevents them from that. Actually the design of the wall inside has a cut on the outside of the lid. The listing has a product picture with no such cut, so when I received the actual product, I wondered if they sent me a wrong one. May be this one is a new design, not sure. Anyway, I felt $20 was bit high, but can't complain as I did not see much products to meet this need to store all the 3 main Mac accessories. If I must buy again, I will buy it.

perfect for my iMacs
Fits 1 magic touch keyboard, 1 magic touch mouse, and 1 trackpad. I have an iMac that can move around, sometimes in the basement, sometimes in the back yard, sometimes the kitchen, sometimes just put out of the way and I use my MacBook. This is the perfect storage companion to keep the very expensive apple keyboard, mouse and trackpad safe and secure. I have the grey fabric one and the black faux leather one for two iMacs, both are perfect fits and I am so glad I can safely store and move $400 worth of associated apple gear without worry.
