Five stars for a high quality toilet seat
This was a breeze to install, it is made of high quality materials, and I especially like the idea of supporting small businesses. The slow close part is something else I didn't know I needed until I installed this. I appreciate the more sturdy metal connectors, the easy-off for cleaning, and the price was worth it. If you're going to go with a plastic seat, I highly recommend this one.

Top quality seat. Fits Toto Drake CST776CSFG toilet (elongated bowl, universal height)
Upgraded our guest bath toilet to a Toto Drake with elongated bowl. The standard (non-bidet) Toto seats get mediocre reviews so went hunting for options. This Bath Royale Exedcutive (BR501) checked all the boxes and had north of a thousand positive reviews. Gave it a shot and am very pleased. Fits the toilet well and looks good. Simple to install. Solidly designed mounting and hardware. Feels very stable in use and is comfortable (I am 6'3" and weigh 315lb). The slow close feature takes about 10 seconds but unlike many slow close seats, you can push it closed without damaging the mechanism. Makes no noise while closing. Easy to remove for cleaning - requires nothing more than putting the seat upright and pulling it straight up off the mounts. The seat is a slightly different shade of white than the toilet - just a touch more yellow - but you really have to stop and look at it to notice. If you look at my photos, you can see it is almost imperceptable. My only real gripe has nothing to do with the quality or function of the seat. The seller makes a point of promoting that they are a U.S. based small business. Along with product photos, the Amazon listing includes several nice pictures of an American flag sprinkled in plus heartwarming copy about family values. However, the toilet seat is clearly marked as made in china (see my photos). I go out of my way to both support small business and to buy American Made whenever possible. Granted the seller never actually claims the seat is made in the U.S.A. but they never exactly say it is not either. It strikes me as somewhat disengenuous to highlight being an American company when your product is made elsewhere. It is a five star item and represents a good value at the approximately $60 I paid in November 2024. Can't really comment about durability or service life since it has only been installed for a week. Will return and update this review if something goes sideways.

Excellent quality. Worth the price.
This seat is very well made. It has four support pads on the under side of both the seat and the lid, not like many others that only have two. Having only two can cause more flex in the seat, perhaps leading to cracking prematurely, so having four should make this seat more durable. It sits securely on the toilet rim without any wiggle. Compared to both Beamis and even American Standard that I bought in the past, Bath Royale's plastic is much heavier with no unwanted flex. I bought the almond/bone color for an American Standard elongated toilet. The color matched perfectly and the size was just right. Installation instructions were clear and the process was easy. Took more time getting the old seat off. Compared to my old toilet seat, the soft close mechanism is a slightly stiffer and the lid takes a bit longer to close but maybe it will loosen with time. The instructions state that you can force the lid shut without damaging the mechanism so the slowness is definitely not a problem. Will update if I run into any issues with the seat.

Ditch your TOILET'S cheap INCLUDED SEAT. This UPGRADE is WORTH the PRICE!
When I BOUGHT new TOILETS, they CAME with CHEAP and FLIMSY SEATS that HAD to BE REPLACED. I OPTED for THESE, and I HAD NO IDEA I WOULD BE SO THRILLED about a TOILET SEAT! The SWITCH now FEATURES a LID that CLOSES GRADUALLY with an EASY-RELEASE mechanism for CONVENIENT CLEANING. BEAUTIFUL, ROBUST, and EASY to INSTALL. Bonus: SCRATCH-RESISTANT, STAIN-RESISTANT.

Excellent product!
Wow! I never thought I'd be praising the virtues of a toilet seat! I was hesitant to give up my old, sturdy solid wood seat and lid, but finally the plastic hinges broke after twenty years of use. I loved the idea of a slow-closing, quiet lid and quick-release assembly for ease of cleaning. But I was afraid of a plastic setup feeling flimsy. Well, I can only say this product completely surpassed my best hopes. It is beautiful, very solid and sturdy, and fully lives up to its promises. Very simple to install, too. The elongated version fits my porcelain commode perfectly. Thanks for a terrific product!

Top quality seat!
It's a toilet seat; you know how that works! What you're wondering is how it compares to all the other toilet seats available, right? Let's start with what I like. 1. The slow-close function, while not unique to this seat, is a new-to-me thing and I'm finding that I like simply flipping the lid and letting it close on its own rather than bending to set the seat down. 2. It's heavy-duty. Both the seat and the lid are substantially thick and don't bend under the weight of being sat on. I tightened the screws sufficiently, so it does not shift around at all. I feel like I could stand on it, if need be, and it wouldn't give way. 3. The easy-clean feature is great! I wasn't sure if I'd actually bother lifting the seat off all the time, but it really is so easy to do that there's no reason not to. 4. Good color matching to most toilet brands. I am super picky about shades of color, so yes, I do notice that it is not quite as bright a white as the 'Cotton" color on my Toto Drake toilet. However, the overall effect is still that it all goes together and it's not different enough for me to obsess over. 5. Soft rubber/silicone bumpers rather than plastic gives a little shock absorbing effect & reduces the chance of cracking. 6. Ease of installation. The instructions are very clear and the only tool you need is a flat head screwdriver.( BTW, actually READ the instructions! Several reviewers complained about the large wings on the nuts not allowing them to spin to tighten. The instructions clearly direct you to be sure & tighten the SCREWS, NOT the nuts! The large wings act as a stabilizer against the toilet so that the seat doesn't wiggle once tightened.) The most time-consuming part was adjusting the bolts to sit exactly right, since my toilet has a slightly imperfect shape. Were there any cons? Not many. 1. While not uncomfortable, its rounded shape makes it slightly less comfortable to sit on than my old seat, which was more flat. BUT, that's because the seat is thicker & sturdier, so not a bad trade-off. 2. It's pretty expensive for a toilet seat. But again, not a bad trade-off if it lasts as long as I think it will. Some info that I could not find in the specs was the actual thickness of the seat and how much height it adds to a toilet. As near as I can tell, with the lid closed, it adds approximately 2" from the toilet rim to the top. Open, with just the seat down, you will be sitting about 1" taller than your toilet rim. This info matters to short-legged people like me! Bottom line, (See what I did there? :D) I would definitely buy this again.
