I’m very pleased with this 1TB external hard drive. It has a slim, lightweight design, so it’s easy to carry around and doesn’t take up much space on my desk. The build quality feels solid, and the rounded edges are a nice touch. It was very easy to set up and worked straight away with my computer. File transfers are quick and reliable with USB 3.0, and the 1TB capacity provides plenty of space for photos, videos, documents and backups. Bought the 1TB version a few weeks ago because I needed some extra storage for my laptop and PS4. So far it's been doing exactly what I need it to do. It was literally plug and play, and my PC picked it up straight away. I've moved a few hundred GB of photos, games, and work files onto it and haven't had any issues. It's pretty slim and doesn't take up much space in my bag, which is handy because I take it between home and work. The transfer speeds are decent for an external hard drive. It's not the fastest thing in the world, but for backups and storing games it does the job well. It also runs quietly and doesn't seem to get very warm. For the price, I honestly can't complain. If you just need reliable extra storage without spending a lot, I'd recommend it.

If i could choose a minus number if stars, i would. I bought this drive on the back of the good reviews, so I formatted it and proceeded to transfer nearly 500G of video, pictures and 3d print files, basically everything I need safe and not clogging up my PC. I used it for 2 weeks before cleaning everything off my PC. Great, I'm running nice and fast again. Then randomly the next time I plug this in it wants me to format it, I now have no access to the 500g of files I absolutely need. It slowed my PC down considerably and I now stand to lose everything on it if I format it. Trust this POS at your own risk. I've lost everything I need. I've done everything I know to retrieve my files back. Of course if I format it again, everything is gone. Nothing I can do about it either, the damage is already done. Stick with the better brands like Toshiba etc.

A nice looking compact unit that's easy to carry around. I was pleasantly surprised at the very reasonable price bearing in mind the capacity. A short cable is included, setting up is very easy just like plugging in a memory stick. I've had no problems at all & can recommend it.
