THE DUMAS SUB CHASER: This kit is more detailed than i thought it would be. This kit comes complete with deck fittings That normaly you have to purchase as a seperate item.The deck gun alone makes a kit all by it self.The scale of the Sub Chaser is 1/35 and for extra detail, parts are easy to find.If you like to scratch build, this kit is a dream come true,you can build the bridge the way it is, or you can rebuild it to add inside detail.To build the kit the way it comes was the biggest surprise to me.Life boat ,vents ,k gun depth charges they are all their.What you see on the box {is what you get].I bought many Dumas kits before in my time but HATS OFF TO THIS ONE.The instruction sheets are very easy to follow and to understand and the decal sheet gives you a lot of numbers to make the ship you want

It is a good kit with good instructions. Seems to be very complete although I think the stuffing tube and shaft shouldhave been included. I only have the hull finished at this time. I added extra gussets and glue blocks at the transom asI do not think there is enough glue area for the stress involved.

It is what I expected. I have been looking at this model for a while and it is a good representatve of my grandfather's boat from ww1
