Stopped Working as Soon as Engine Got to Temp
The distributor looks very good, fit the engine, started and ran great several times. I have been working on this car trying to get it running correctly for years! Lived in Japan for a while, moved back and forth to Florida, I am now back in California and retired so I am working on it almost full time. Once I got the registration straightened out and insurance on it I tried to drive it further. As soon as the engine got warm, 180 degree F it began to loose power, then miss fire and back fire like a cannon! After research online I discovered I am not the only person having trouble with this distributor! The consensus is the electronics heat up and stop working. I have emailed the company twice and have not heard back. I would not buy this product!

don't waste your money!
I bought this 034EL distributor in February 3 Kuhlteck was the brand. I installed it April 7. Drove the car 8 miles in town through city streets. The vacuum diaphram failed and caused the idle to go up like an open vacuum leak. I have installed many of these distributors of the 034 design. the electronic module was fine ,I had to block the vacuum line to the carb with a bolt and limp home on it . this dizzy didn't las a half hour.

Great product
So far so good. Its doing great with a progressive carb on a 1600 dual port

Failed O-ring
Rubber O-ring oil seal failed after 5 months. Oil was coming right up through the cylinder. The brittle seal was broken in 2 places.
