Bought this desk when I got my work from home job. My dad assembled it and said it was a bit of a pain (came in a lot of pieces), but prefacing that with I wasn’t there when he put it together and I’m not sure if he read the directions. The part that slides out for the keyboard doesn’t sit all the way back like it’s supposed to, but it doesn’t bother me too much. Only thing I wish is that it didn’t have the keyboard space and had a little more leg room in height (so I could cross my legs while sitting at the desk). Otherwise, exactly like it looks in the picture and have plenty of room for my regular sized laptop, double monitor, mouse/mouse pad and succulent plants. Would buy again.

I love the look of the desk, but there are a few things you should know. First of all I am writing this review because I couldn’t find much out there on this desk. Here are some things you should know. The desk is made out of particle wood, so it’s not solid desk. The leg height on this desk is not great, but the width is awesome. It takes a lot of effort and time to assemble a desk. The storage cabinet on the desk is nice and spacious, but they don’t have a hole Cut out where you could run wires through it if you wanted to put your computer tower in there or if you had a laptop with a docking station so it leaves you still having to put it outside of the desk or cutting a hole manually.The delivery of this desk by Amazon it was actually pretty horrible. It takes about two weeks to get it and if they lose it it takes another two weeks for them to resend it, which was my case. It took almost a month for me to get the desk. All in all the desk is beautiful and it seems like it’s pretty durable with the proper care. It seems like something I will enjoy but only time will tell.

Beautiful. Despite being laminated particle board. This desk is pretty solid. Took me about 45 mins to put together. Looks overwhelming due to the amount of pieces but assembly was pretty easy.

If you're used to assembling Ikea furniture and think this will be the same, think again: the package has multiple different sizes of screws and other fasteners. It's also useful to have a power driver to screw in all of the different attachments. It's not simple, and you'll want a partner to help you assemble the desk. There are a lot of parts, and you should allocate a few hours to put everything together.The desk overall is sturdy, and I'm pretty happy with it.Couple of other issues preventing five stars:* There are sticky cushions for the keyboard tray swinging up. They don't stick, but it turns out you don't need them* The surface of the desk may look like one solid piece of wood, but it isn't: it's three pieces attached together. There are braces to hold the three pieces together while you're assembling the desk; mine did not get fully tight. But once you assemble the whole desk nothing moves around anyway: it's solid.* The keyboard tray has a fairly low height: my hand on my mouse hits the desk. If I had a raised keyboard, I would not be comfortable.* There is a support bar on the bottom of the surface of the desk that goes against the keyboard tray. Generally, you _must_ have the keyboard tray out in order to use the keyboard and mouse.All that being said, I think this is a good value for the money. And again, the desk is solid.

This is my back up computer desk for my part time job so it serves that purpose. However it’s not very sturdy and the door is hard to open. I always feel like I’m going to pull it off the hinges when I open it.

Practical and stylish. Love the cam-lock system furniture is now using! Took about an hour and 1/2 for 1 person to assemble with no power tools which is not bad at all. We now have 2 of these in our home office, along with the 2 drawer lateral filing cabinet and love it.

I put this together myself and only needed the hubby's help when it came time to lift and set the top into place.If you review the instructions before you start and follow them closely, step by step, you'll be able to build it without issues. The illustrations are good but you do have to look at the pics closely and match them up to what you are doing.There are LOTS of parts and pieces and it does take patience and it took me about six hours to complete but it looks and functions great - just what I needed for working from home.

A little difficult putting together. There is no decorative back to the desk so you have to place against a wall. The front looks great and color is really perfect.
