Armen Living Summer Modern Chair In Charcoal Fabric and Walnut Wood

I'm so glad I made this purchase. I absolutely LOVE this chair! To be clear, my home's from the 1930s and my tastes run from bohemian and mid-Century modern to vintage. Still, I think it'd suit various tastes in decor. The upper part/arms cradle the body, so it may not be ideal for all body types. However, I'm 5'3" and my (former) bf is 6'2". We each felt comfortable in it. The seat sits a tad high for someone my size, which is why it's in the computer nook of my guest room vs my home office. Still, it's comfy. The styling and fabric are fantastic. It leans mustard with a gorgeous wood finish. Great quality! Better than it appears online. Assembly was a snap. I carried it in myself, got it upstairs all by my lonesome and put it together quickly. Best purchase I've made in a long time!

I'll echo the other very positive comments about this eye-catching chair. First, it has Nordic-style good looks. The beautifully curved seat and legs and floating, hemispherical back are just about as perfect as it gets aesthetically. (The style is evocative of an Eames chair.) Second, this chair is made entirely of natural wood and the finishing is remarkably refined for this price point. The walnut stain is just about perfect (both color-wise and in its uniformity). The charcoal fabric is simple and understated. The feet have silicon sliders that will not scratch wood floors. Third, this is an exceptionally easy chair to put together. Just one bolt to join the x-shaped legs together and four more to attach them to the seat. We had both of our chairs assembled in 12 minutes. The chairs are very efficiently packed in easy-to-carry boxes (and are surprisingly light). There was absolutely no transit damage at all - not even a minor scratch. Finally, and most importantly, the chairs are strong and rigid and very comfortable to sit in. I'm actually astonished that such good quality, beautifully-designed chairs are available at this price point. If you're considering this chair, go ahead and purchase with confidence. I can certainly attest to the high rating here on Amazon.

The chair is just what I had been looking for. My son and I share a 400 sf studio and I needed a small, comfortable chair for my space. This fits the bill perfectly, easy to assemble (I did not buy the swivel attachment), the wood is beautiful, the fabric is quality; and it is comfortable so sit in for periods of time. I did purchase a thin gel chair pad, but only because I have an issue with left lower back. That being said, it is also what I like about the upright position because it does support better than a soft chair. The pricing seems fair for the quality/size, but in a good way. The wood on one leg has a series of indentations on the inside (not visible), but does not appear to be a manufacturing defect; it is strictly Mother Nature. I hope this works for you as positive, if only from my standpoint.

This chair is great for the price. My guess is that it will wear out fairly quickly, but it is sturdy and comfortable out of the box. The fabric was a bit wrinkled along the back of the chair (I saw this noted in other reviews). But assembly was easy, and it looks great. Of note: this should have been obvious, but I didn’t realize until I finished assembling…if you are using it with a desk, the chair is too tall to push under a standard-height desk. My desk has a drawer, so it’s even lower than a slab desk. The chair sticks out 18 inches from the desk, so if you want something that tucks under a desk, this may not be for you. If your desk is a slab at 30-inches high without drawers, the chair will tuck in better, but you’ll still have a good 10 inches sticking out.

Update. Received the 2nd chair and its obviously the correct shade. This chair was used and what I feel was probably sun bleached as it seems to have a greenish,silvery tone to it and not to mention it had dust on the side of cushion that I didn't notice till I took it apart. Upset that I had to return it and the hassle that goes with the travel. Once the return is received ill be keeping an eye out for the same chair as its out of stock. This is Amazon's fault for not doing a quality control in the products that are returned. 3 starts because i am not sure if this is the correct color! i got charcoal but it looks super light and almost has a green ting of color. I did order the same chair/color from another vendor on ebay and if this item arrives much darker then the one i got from here than i will be returning it. i ill update as soon as i get the other one. Finally received the second chair and it matches with the other one. Very happy with the items!!

I’m obsessed with this chair!! Before I was using my wonky little piano bench to sit at my desk. I work AND do school from home so I was looking for something more supportive, (I also have scoliosis and bad posture problems) and this so far has done the job nicely! And I got it for only $60?? What a steal!! I also love how it fits the vibe of my bedroom. *Don’t mind the clutter under my desk, I’m an organized mess.* The one issue I do have is that I’ve had this chair for a month and over time the screws have come loose, easily fixed by tightening them, but I’m also afraid of making them too tight and stripping the screw :/. I also thought this was going to come with the little swivel compartment that makes the chair spin, I was wrong. I might purchase one of those as well, maybe that will help with the structural integrity? All in all, love this chair!

Have been looking for a desk chair that doesn't kill my back for years. Also am kinda short. . . so my feet never touch the floor. No matter how "ergonomic" (expensive) they all tend to be crap. Thought I'd try this one . . . and wow! It's excellent. I work at a desk for 8-10 hours a day. This is super comfortable. Great lower back support. My feet touch the floor. And, it looks great in my home office. Nice enough to use as an extra chair at the dinner table if need be. It's just a simple, well designed, reasonably priced chair with no BS. Love it!

These are nice looking chairs and comfortable to sit in! We purchased two of them for our home office as Christmas gifts to ourselves. They arrived in early January. We assembled them on Jan 7th, 2021. Everything was excellent at first. Quick to assemble and they looked great. Within 4 weeks both chairs had become a bit wobbly and needed bolts tightened. My spouse said maybe we should return them at that time but overall I was still quite satisfied with the chairs and decided to instead tighten the bolts and apply a bit of caulk around each to keep them secure. Fast forward to March 8th, 2021. I'm sitting in my office chair with my son in my lap. We weigh a combined total of ~220lbs. We are watching a video on the computer when suddenly there is a crunching sound. The chair lurches forward and the legs splay outwards. We tumble. One of the bentwood legs had cracked like a wafer cookie. The chair lasted 60 days. Unfortunately, the return window closed on Feb 5th. Very disappointed. For the money spent, I expected these chairs to last a long time.

スタイリッシュなだけでなく、座面が硬めで深く座ると安定感もあり疲れにくいと感じます。生地も木材も材質が良く、組み立ても簡単でした。ただ輸入品なので座面が一般的な国産椅子と比べて5-6cm高いです。

Great quality and easy build! All screw holes lined up nicely, I didn’t find myself fighting to get pieces to fit. The fabric is thick and feels nice to sit on, anticipate it will hold up well compared to others I have bought before and found the fabric to be cheap and thin quality. Recommend!!

I love this chair, easily one of my best purchases this year when it comes to furniture as I’m redecorating. Only purchased one when it was on sale $161.00 CAD so with GST $170 CAD. This is the most expensive chair I’ve purchased for my vanity but I mean I love it and I want more. The upholstery is a nice neutral dark grey with a nice complimentary wood grain, this was a nice splurge item I took a chance on and I am happy I did so I’m writing my review. I really do believe that the item itself is not worth $300 CAD so I’m happy I was able to buy it at the price I did but even so I think a more reasonable price for the chair would be $200 CAD market value and if discounted a price point of $120-$150 CAD would make more sense. If this bad boy ever goes on sale for under $150 CAD it’s safe to say I’d buy three more in a heartbeat.
