Stuff works!
I have 4 levoit 300 humidifier at my home and use it all winter especially due to having grandkids over every week. Machine works great and I keep my house at 50% humidity.However I get them pink gunk build up after cleaning after about 3 days on all unit. I use vinegar to clean my units about every 5 days and even hydrogen peroxide but keeps coming back.I tried this stuff and I no longer get the pink gunk anymore. I still do clean my humidifier but it is a quick rinse now.I have gone over a week and looks like it was just cleaned!!I use 1 tsp per 1/2 gal of water, my unit holds 1 1/2 gal so I use 1 tbl spoon per daily fill.Saves me lots of time and also comfort to know that gunk isnโt going into the air!I highly recommend this product.

Effective in Killing Bacteria
This chemical eliminates bacteria. This helps eliminate odors that can occur in humidifiers, absolutely necessary. A better option is to buy the combo chemicals that include the bacterial stat and conditioner.

Reduces my Venta Funk
I have a Venta AirWasher that I use to control humidify in my living room. While I donโt use it as an air purifier per se, the design of the AirWasher leads it to pick up material from the air and deposit it in the water.After only a few days, I would get quite a bit of Venta Funk emanating from the AirWasher. I decided to give this biocide a try after getting some tips online.Iโm pleased to report that this appears to be inhibiting bacterial growth in the Venta. No more weird smells. While I do still clean it on a regular schedule to prevent clogging with particulates, the odor is completely gone, there is no more slime. This has made cleaning easier.My only request would be for the option to purchase a more concentrated solution to help make this product more environmentally-friendly to ship.
