Diablo Steel Demon Cermet II Saw Blade for Medium Metal - 14" x 72-Teeth

I have an Evolution metal cutting saw that I purchased recently. In the past I have always used a grinder or chop saw with an abrasive blade to cut metal but I was introduced to cold saws about 5 years ago and immediately fell in love with them. They cut quickly, don't make sparks, dust and a mess like abrasive blades do and you can handle the steel immediately without worrying about burning your hand. The biggest drawbacks to these cold cut saws are the blades as they are much more expensive than an abrasive blade and if not used correctly can dull rather quickly. The blade that came with my saw was a multi-material blade which worked fairly well but became dull rather quickly after I cut some stainless steel. I was going to replace it with another Evolution blade that was specifically designed for ferrous metals but in looking around on YouTube found a guy on who had tested many blades and this Diablo came out as one of the best for overall performance. I've used Diablo blades in the past for wood working and was always happy with their performance so I decided to try this one. I've only made about a half dozen cuts so far (on 14 gauge square tubing) but the blade cut quickly, accurately and generated very little heat so so far so good. The biggest question, however, is the one I can't answer yet which is longevity. Will this blade be junk 10 cuts from now or is it going to last for a while? I'll have to reserve commenting on this till I use it more and then update my review but at this time I'm quite pleased.

I tired this blade out on a new Evolution R355 I purchased on Amazon. Of course the blade that came with the Evolution was great, but it was an all-purpose blade that cuts through iron, aluminum, wood, copper, and plastic. I wanted to try a blade that was just dedicated to iron. Having used Diablo for years in my wood shop, and being very pleased with the results, I wanted to try their iron blade.I did a square cut on a scrap piece of 1/4"-wall angle iron. Unbelievable. The cut was as clean and smooth as the face of a proof coin. It was like a mirror! The pictures show reflections of a red marking crayon and a .22 round in the face of the cuts. You don't get a cut like that unless your saw and your blade are absolutely vibration free, and the teeth are perfectly aligned.I love this blade. I can't wait until I begin cutting steel for the bench I'll be building for my Evolution

This Diablo Steel Demon Cermet II blade cuts very smoothly and stays sharp even after repeated use. It feels durable, produces clean cuts, and handles metal very well. Installation was easy, and the performance has been consistent. A solid, reliable blade for metal-cutting projects.

I thought I would not go back to abrasive discs in my chop saw. This blade cuts fast. It makes larger sparks because its cutting out chips so you really do need to pay attention where they are going if your saw is used in many locations. With a lower power saw you need to apply minimal pressure or the blade will stop the motor. Once you get used to that its fine. Yes, its expensive. The quality and speed of the cuts make up for the cost until it gets dull. I cut 6 pieces of 2x2 square tube and some 3/4" threaded rod, blade is done... Not worth the cost.

Best blade around. Stays sharp and the teeth dont fall off like cheap blades. I cut a lot of stainless and tubing, no issues after thousands of cuts.

These are a disappointment by the highest standard. I love Diablo but these are trash they cut amazing for about 10 cuts. On 11 might as well be cutting with a napkin. Very thin blade so they deflect like crazy if your doing very thin might last 20 cuts but 1/4 inch production isnt worth the money in the slightest i bought 2 blades and burnt both of them up in 1 week on a flatbed for a truck. Not even w9rking them hard

This blade is way better than the blade that came with my saw. It cuts faster, smoother, more accurate and is way quieter. The run out is good, only .010". Remember, you have to use this blade on a slow RPM saw, won't last in a high RPM saw.

El producto se ve de muy buena calidad, teníamos muchas ganas de probarlo ya que no lo recomendaron muchoz tristemente no funcionaba para mi cortadora y tuve que regresarlo, el vendedor debería escribir sobre la foto la advertencia de máximo de rpm =(

Excellent blade cuts clean

Well worth it. I have used the blade on mild steel for a project and it has performed 45 degree cuts and 90 degree cuts perfectly. Recommend.
