Fertility and Faith: The Demographic Revolution and the Transformation of World Religions

eye-opener
Superbly researched and clearly stated. Some books are written to be written; this is written to be read. US church battles over sexuality may gain attention and energy from all sides, but Jenkins warns the implications of reducing reproduction in society (for many reasons) will knock every side flat unless addressed in a focused and compelling way. Filled with the fruit of data and research, absent of propaganda, a must-read for those interested in the national and global future of major religions, particularly Christianity.
