This cover is good, lots of padding and smooth at the same time. The cover is adjustable so fitted our ironing board very well. Only down side it was a bit fiddly to put on the board. The three elastic straps are good and helps to keep the cover in place.Overall well made and seems value for the money so pleased with my purchase.

Very nice cover, quite thick so I didn't need to buy a liner. It's extra large for my gigantic iron board, and it comes with elastic joiners to use underneath so it's very well pulled. Recommended.

My old cover just rolled up when ironing bedding .Because of the straps underneath this is held securely in place.Very pleased that this has solved the problem

I have a steam generator iron and used to have a have a lot of water drip on the floor from the condensed steam. This is a good replacement ironing board cover. I now have zero water drip on floor. However, you need to be careful when manipulating clothing whilst ironing to make sure your hand isn't too close to the steam, which is now even more intense as it is deflected back to the garment.Fitting is easy with the elasticated braces provided. However, the manufacture of the cover could be a little more stringent, as I found the drawstring wasn't correctly sewn into the cover. It should be double stitched. I decided to repair it myself rather than send it back.

I have ironing board and bought this to use while travelling. It is not comparable with ironing board. It is thin and you need iron clothes for some time. Mine still was left with some creases. Good I tried it at home. I ended up returning it and using hotel ironing board and iron. But if you want to save a space it is very good item. Does job and save space. There are too many plastic in the world. And I ended up returning it. And Amazon returns system are most ridiculous thing in the world. Post office staff didn't let me return in the box I got it. Thei packed it in black plastic bag, very big bag, around 100 litres. Even staff members said this Amazon returns policy is ridiculous.

I purchased this ironing board cover to replace one that had finally "given up the ghost" after about six years of use. I chose the "Smart & Gentle" product based on the reviews of others.The price was a little higher than other competitor products, but concluded that it must be worth it.Installing the new cover was quite easy. I was impressed by the use of the three elastic webbing bands which when applied to the edges of the cover on the underside of the ironing board, draw the sides securely together.Sadly after only three days of fitting the new cover, the ironing board itself failed after ten years of good use. (No fault of the new ironing board cover.) I removed the new cover with the intention of purchasing a new ironing board of the same size. By so doing I'd have a spare cover on hand when the one on my new board needs replacing. Sadly, when I carefully removed the new Smart & Gentle cover from my old ironing board, I noticed that the foam sub-layer lining of the new cover had been torn at the "nose" or pointed end of the board.Given the price, I was disappointed by this. I took care when installing the cover, so I have to conclude that the manufacturer needs to upgrade the quality/thickness of the said sub layer. I've applied some wide parcel tape adhesive to the tear in order to repair same. By doing so I still have a spare cover for future use.

Pros: I like the design and the padded underside all in one pieceCons: hard to attach Velcro under the ironing board. The Velcro needs to thread the 1” Velcro through a 1” loop that is very difficult to do, once that is done it won’t tighten very well. Also could fit my ironing board better,

Se Ajusta de Maravilla a mi tabla de planchar que comprè hace ya 33 años 😄Aparte de que es super bonita de diseño... cuando planchas... te ahorras mucho tiempo porque plancha al mismo tiempo la parte de abajo (ya no tienes que dar la vuelta a la prenda)... y desprende un rebote de calor que apenas hay que planchar.La ùnica pega es que no se puede lavar.... pero esto tiene soluciòn: cuando ya recojo la tabla de planchar, cubro la funda de planchar con una tela o paño, para que no se ensucie ni coja polvo.Respecto al precio, es algo cara... pero merece la pena.Tiene pinta de durar toda una vidaMe alegro de haberla comprado.... porque probè otras fundas y no me ajustaban bien a mi tabla... haciendo bultos
