Not recommended for an amateur
I’m not a carpenter or anything like it. Far from it. But it looked simple enough. However when I applied a generous amount of tape around a rather Leaky garden faucet just slipped right off. I didn’t give up I tried again but this time it just stuck in all the wrong places I do not recommend this product

NO good for hose
Bought to repair a garden hose (Gardena brand). The tape adhered to itself okay, but did not form seal to the hose pipe - in fact the silicone tape isn't really 'sticky' at all. The Gardena hose is slight rough/ridged, which might be the problem - it might work on a smooth hose, but would not recommend.

Brilliant.No more 'weeping'.
4 Rads had weeping issues at valve pipe joints. Applied as advice online & delighted to date with result.Highly recommended.
