There is a good instructions guide in which they identify the different components by pictures and some explanationsThey explain enough well how the circuit works with pictures and how make good solderingI would have liked some more explain, example, on the picture showing the scr, Silicon controlled rectifier, with the word anode, cathode and gateDespite i’m A beginner, I think the conductive tracks (sheet layers) are too wide, the solder is hard to realized even with height temperature and with a new solder I bought with 60% tin 40% leadBefore this project, I had soldering a pcb with thin tracks with a temperature less hot, it was easy.Then I tried other soldering on small layer, it was a pleasure to solderIn a whole, this is a great kit.

Great kit, works wonderfully. I wouldn't twist the S3 wires together but just hook them together for easy break away trip of the alarm.

Works perfectly, however it was a lot smaller than I was expecting!

Good instruction book that teaches well and informative for assembly. Only lacking on the external applications. Poorly packaged IC not even tin foil. I would recommend as a beginner project in assembly only. Applying it to a car jewelry box or door will need a more advanced knowledge of electronics. Not impossible to figure out. This is one of the better beginner builds.

Easy to put together but the instructions are not quite right*** Changed rating from a 3 to a 5 after I sat down and really read the instructions.
