This is a brilliant product. Only been using it a few minutes, so if my view changes I will update this review.It feels good in the hand. Writes well.Massive bonus is the lid aside from being metal (I think) will protect the nib and tip of the stylus from getting damaged. My RM II stylus got damaged because it didn't have a lid and the bag it was in fell off tthe the seat it was on (it was in its case as well).I had the RM II Stylus with the eraser, but I think with the RM II interface, it's actually easier to select the eraser option than it is to rotate the stylus to use the eraser end. So it's true the eraser end doesn't work on the RMII but you don't need it. Seriously, try using the stylus you have to select the eraser option. The RM II stylus should be so much cheaper, in my view, way overpriced.The only downside is the magnetic holder on the RM II doesn't work, but it's a bigger stylus and it's not practical. But the bigger size is better in the hand. Not sure if this is a negative point. Get a case with a stylus holder, and you should be good :-) It actually feels more like a normal pen and pad because of the lid , size , shape and design etc.I have yet to confirm my old remarkable nibs work in this pen. If they don't, I will update this review and let you all know. It was a deciding factor for choosing this stylus. This is a great wee penI'm using it on my fabulous remarkable tablet. It works great and find it easy on my sometimes sore hands. Light weight. Fort my small hand very well. Highly recommend this product to anyone using a writing tablet. Great value for money

I bought this to use with my RM2 tablet, as it was cheaper than the RM stylus. The nib that comes with it is a bit scratchy but it can easily be replaced with RM nibs, which I did. This has meant the writing feel on the tablet is the same as the original RM pen.Apart from the price, I like the fatness of this pen. It has the feel of a fountain pen. I mostly use fountains pens, so I feel very comfortable writing and drawing with it. (If you prefer pencil like thinness, Staedtler Norris stylus might be an option but that doesn't accept RM's nibs). Unlike the RM pens, neither Staedtler or Lamy are magnetic. The Lamy however, has a cap with a clip, protecting the nib and allowing it to be put in the pocket like ordinary pens, which I prefer.There is an eraser button, but that doesn't seem to work with the RM2. Whilst loss of this function doesn't affect the way I use the tablet much, it does make this pen more comparable to the RM Marker (without eraser) rather than the Marker Plus (with eraser) - which I thought I was getting. Thus the saving was 20% rather than 50%.Overall, if you are considering buying this as an alternative to the RM pens, price alone is unlikely to be the driver as the price gap has narrowed. However, if you like the thick, fountain pen feel, built-in eraser is not your priority and prefer a clip cap over magnetic attachment, then this would be a good alternative to use with Remarkable tablets.

Works perfectly with my kindle scribe and looks ( and feels) so much nicer to use day to day than the pen provided (too thin like a pencil). My only comment would be that one button is not enough. If it was like the premium pen I would have shortcuts for both eraser and highlighter.

Whats not to like, the Lamy EMR stylus has the typical great build quality you'd expect from a pen from Lamy's Al-Star range.I purchased for use with my Kindle Scribe, I have arthritic hands and find the standard Kindle pen is a little too thin for me to hold comfortably for extended periods of time.I should mention that the Lamy pens diameter is substantially wider than the standard Scribe pen, so don't purchase it expecting it to fit the Pen loop of a genuine Amazon Scribe case.I find the nib to very smooth to write with and is thankfully is fully interchangeable with the genuine Scribe and Remarkable nibs.The pen is well build, has a nice weight to it and is extremely comfortable to use. The body and pen is made of aluminium with a black painted finish, the finish will wear with age giving the pen 'patina' or character.I've absolutely no complaints and I'm more than happy with it.

This pen is a mixed bag.Pros:- It is comfortable to hold, thanks to the ergonomic, plastic grip, which is smooth and pleasant to the touch.- It is also very nice to have a button, which is programmed to be an erasure out of the box. Boox's standard pen doesn't have this feature, which is a real shame.Cons:- The writing feel is a disappointment. It's far more "scratchy" than the standard Boox pen, and not in a good way- The erasure button is in a bit of a silly place, so that it's uncomfortable to use with your forefinger, However, if you use your thumb, it's good enough- The lid is larger and more cumbersome than it needs to be. They could have made the design far more sleek.In short, while this pen is decent, at £40 it certainly feels overpriced. However, until a strong competitor comes along, this seems like the best replacement on the market.

I use may reMarkable for work, so writing up notes all day, 5 days a week and wanted an alternative to the OEM pen that I bought with it.I've been buying and loving the Staedtler ones, but holding off on the Lamy (even though I have their fountain and rollerball pens) until the price came down - it did and I bought one - very happy with it.I can even swap the EMR segment out with the fountain ad rollerball segments if I fancy using a different coloured pen (a small, silly and inconsequential benefit, but I like it).I did feel that the tip that came with it didn't feel as nice to write with, but it uses the same size / type nib as the reMarkable one, so I was easily able to swap it out, and get the benefit of the reMarkable nib with the lovely hand-feel of the Lamy pen.Would I recommend to other reMarkable users? Darn right - no hesitation

Using with a Remarkable 2, and I haven't swapped the nib over from the Lamy Original yet. They say that it's better with the Remarkable nibs (which they say fit exactly), and to be fair, it is a little 'scratchy' whilst writing.Much more comfortable than the Remarkable Plus pen (I don't know about the ordinary pen), my writing is definitely more legible.What's not to like? 2 things:1) all of the Remarkable 2 cases are designed for the Remarkable 2 pen (actually most are designed for no pen, but you can sometimes fit the very slim pen in)2) My Remarkable 2 needs recalibrating frequently (every 2-3 days), I mean I notice that my writing is not where the nib is touching the surface. Not by much, but 0.2-0.5mm is enough to be irritating. The Remarkable 2 plus pen has a strong magnet along its length, and passing this up and down the writing surface performs the recalibration (takes about 2 seconds including taking the pen out of its holder and putting it back in), in other words I have to carry the Remarkable 2 pen with me anyway, even though I use the Lamy for writing.

De stylus schrijft prima op mijn Boox Note Air 3C. Hij is minder stroef dan hte schrijven met de oorspronkelijke Boox stylus en maakt geen krassend geluid. De gladheid van het schrijven is even wennen.De pen ligt prettig in de hand tijdens het schrijven en schrijft heel erg precies. Een bijkomend voordeel is dat ik de korte pauze niet meer ervaar die de bijgeleverde Boox stylus wel vaak heeft. Als je begint te schrijven dan is het vaak dat de eerste lekker niet op het scherm geregistreerd wordt.De Lamy pen heeft dit veel minder, eigenlijk heb ik het nog niet gezien. De eerste bewegingen worden direct geregistreerd.Nadeel is wel dat de pen niet magnetisch is en dus los meegenomen moet worden. Maar dat was bekend.

Je l'ai pris pour avoir un stylo de rechange pour mon Supernote A5X en plus du HoM.Il est devenu mon stylo principal. Meilleure sensation, plus souple, l'impression d'écrire sur un cahier.Précision des traits. Et le petit plus c'est le bouton pour effacer sans perdre de temps à poser 2 doigts ou à aller chercher la gomme.Je suis enchantée.Livré avec 2 mines de rechange. je vais voir à l'usage le temps qu'elles me dureront.

クアデルノ2nd用に使用。付属ペンは細いので、このペンに変える事でかなり書きやすくなりました。芯を金属(チタン)性のに変えると、更に芯を変える手間が無くなりいい感じです。

Although the original stylus is perfectly good, this Lamy is a nice alternative with the classic feel of a traditional (ie non-digital) Lamy. Feels nice in the hand. The right size and weight. I now use it as my main stylus and keep the original as a back-up.
