It says water resistant up to 30 meters but it also says not submersible or shower resistant?

My answer to the question, which is a good one, is really a non-answer. I don't worry about water when I wear this watch, but I also don't wear it in the shower or swimming. I don't do those last two things because I don't want to deal with soap scum on the watch more than the water ruining it. The description is a total mystery to me, and it seems to be very contradictory. I have to say I enjoy this watch when I wear it.
