They have decent noise isolation so it would be a bit difficult to hear yourself

i wouldn’t say there is anything super impressive about their noise isolation- i’ve had these for years and use them on planes frequently- they are just a normal run of the mill mediocre earbud.

Mines don't make sound when adjusted
