I bought this 3M weatherstrip adhesive for the shop door on my small business. The rubber seal kept drooping and customers were asking if we were “remodeling” because it looked so rough. I squeezed a thin bead along the frame, pressed the strip in, and it grabbed fast enough that i didn’t have to stand there holding it forever. I liked that it stayed in place even when we were slamming the door during a rush. Also used a bit to reattach a loose gasket on our mini fridge behind the counter. That alone made me glad i had this tube in the drawer.

Amber tube showed up in my stack of office fixes because my little backyard office shed was leaking around the window frame. I needed something stronger than random tape. This stuff is thick but spreads fine with a scrap gift card. I ran a bead around the gasket, pressed it in, and it grabbed fast so I didn’t have to stand there forever holding it. Smell is strong so i opened both windows, then it was fine. Next morning after a heavy rain, the carpet by my desk stayed dry for once. Reallly glad I don’t have to drag my laptop back to the dining table every storm now.

I found this 3M weatherstrip adhesive to be pretty handy for sealing up gaps around windows at home. It’s easy to use and sticks well, making the windows much more airtight and reducing drafts. I’ve also used it in a pinch on some car seals and it held up nicely. The 5 oz size is nice because it lasts a while, and the application process was straightforward. Definitely a good addition to my toolbox for quick ffixes around the house and car.

These days I fix more than I replace, so my son suggested this 3M adhesive for the loose door gasket on my old Honda. Thick and sticky, but it stays where you put it. I cleaned the rubber, ran a thin bead, then held it a minute. Drove through a heavy rain and the seal stayed tight, which made me glad we tried this.

As I'm used to driving (and fixing) older vehicles, this is the only weatherstrip adhesive I use. If you follow the directions, it will not let you down. I use a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol to clean the channel in the weatherstripping, and a paper towel or rag wet with alcohol to clean the mating surface. Once all is dry, a light coating of this on each surface and a four or five minute wait for it to be tacky, I carefully mate the surfaces (it's easy to make a mess) and after a few more minutes this stuff won't let go.

Premium product but be very careful in application as it sure enough sticks.

I installed a moon roof visor on my Acura RDX. It had screw clips and some double sided tape. I went through a car wash and the visor blew off in the high speed drying section. I picked it up and took it home. I then purchased some 3M double sided auto tape. That worked great but then I noticed it was starting to yield. I actually looked for advice on Gemini, and it suggested this adhesive. I followed the instructions exactly and it has worked very well.

Works fantastic. After a few other products failed to hold door seals,this was fantastic. Worked in minutes and continues to hold.
