I bought this product expecting it to cover only my roots, exactly as stated in the description. The box indicated shade number 9 (blonde), which is the color I selected. I applied the product as instructed and waited 10 minutes. When I went to rinse my hair, I was shocked to see that my hair had turned red, almost strawberry-colored. Now the color on the top of my hair will not come out, and my hair looks like a rainbow. I do not recommend this product. Instead of saving money, it ended up being more expensive, since I now have to go to a salon to fix the damage and pay even more. This product completely spoiled my hair

Used on blonde dyed hair, roots are dark. Doesn’t work at all, not even the slightest bit on the blonde pieces to make it brighter.

I have been using this product for at least ten years! I have only ever done my roots and this gives me amazing coverage. I put the product in a glass bowl, mix well and paint it on my roots in small sections and it does my full head. People, including my hairdresser of 22 years, are always telling me.. “don’t mess with perfection! It looks FANTASTIC” . L’Oreal must never discontinue this 🙏

I get salon highlights every 12 weeks. My hair is a ashy dark blonde/brown and quite thin. Tried this in a pinch since I had two events and no time to do professional job. When I'm due for colour, my hair gets very limp and greasy looking. Product(light blonde #9) was very easy to use. Mixed and applied within a few minutes and left on for about 8 minutes. Used a purple shampoo after and left it on for a few minutes to tone any brassiness. One bottle did my whole head and some to spare. Results were amazing and very natural. I highly recommend this product and would use it again.

Good coverage, easy application.

I bought this during the pandemic in March. I use to go to the salon every four weeks to get my roots done. NO MORE! I am now using this. It is easy. I actually apply with my finger tips although it comes with an applicator. I watched a youtube video on how to use it. After applying I use purple shampoo. LOVE IT.

I been using this product for years and never had an issue so decided to order on Amazon and the difference is the gloves is super hard to open. Very frustrating. When it takes 10 mins to dye your roots you don't wanna spend 5 mins trying to open the gloves...
