The best cutter out there for the money. Easy to take apart and clean.
After researching, as I always do, I decided on purchasing this cutter wheel. This item has one of the highest percentage 5 star ratings that are out there and for good reason. I've also read the one and two star rated reviews and it seems some of the bad comments are about the design by trying to take it apart to clean it. Well, I've only used this cutter wheel two times and it worked like a charm & cuts like a razor like no other I've used before. But, I hadn't taken it apart yet...until now and it's so easy to do!REMEMBER: BLADE IS SUPER SHARP!!! Go easy and DON'T fight it.Taking cutter wheel apart 101:1. Hold Cutter with Mozzbi logo on top, facing you and thumb over or above logo.2. Slide/turn the clear shield cover closed until you hear it click and with that same hand3. Grasp firmly the top part of the clear shield (Be CERTAIN plastic shield is locked closed)...4. And with original hand slide thumb past the logo towards the clear plastic slide and grab the top, middle edge, past where it says OPEN.5. Try working your thumb down between the two separate halves as if you're trying to force your way underneath.I can go to the drawer and take out the cutter and pop it open in about 3 seconds. It's really that easy! The first time it unlocked somewhat hard but after the first time it opens fairly easily.NOTE: If you have smaller and or weaker thumbs use a flat screwdriver instead. Just place it underneath between the two halves and lift up the screwdriver handle and it will pop right open. Easy to clean.

Works great and has longevity too!
I purchased this product in blue on September 11, 2016 (at the time of writing this review I have had it for about a year and a half). We make frozen pizzas around every other week. We regularly forget it in the sink for a few days and eventually move it to the dishwasher (we have always washed it on the top shelf). This one cutter has been amazing. We've never had any problems cutting frozen pizzas (after baking them), and have never had a problem with it. The product description says it is dishwasher safe. This is very true. It has been through our dishwasher too many times to count and always comes out clean and never showing any ware.I have seen a few reviews mention that it is difficult to close the plastic cover over the blade without cutting yourself. I disagree. I do feel that it would be easy to get your hand in the blade while closing the cover, but as long as you are careful it is not very hard to be safe. I have never been harmed or had any one get harmed by my cutter.

This gadget is so awesome it’s compelled me to write a review
This gadget is so awesome it’s compelled me to write a review. A review for a pizza cutter? YES.Functionality: it’s super sharp. Whizzes through pizza with ease. Doesn’t matter if it’s thick or thin crust. This cutter has got you covered. I also like using it for chopping up herbs and other small items.Clean-Up: THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS. It pops apart easily and cleans up in a snap. I’m not even sure it’s dishwasher safe because I actually don’t mind washing it by hand. The whole thing kind of pops open and you can quickly wash the cover, the handle, and the blade.Storage: it’s small, compact, and the blade is covered so it’s easily stored in your kitchen drawer and you don’t have to worry about reaching in and slicing your fingers open (or your kids fingers for that matter)Great product. If you need a pizza cutter, this is the one to get.

Great pizza cutter
Great pizza cutter! It's easier to use than one with a handle, easy to clean as it comes apart fairly easily, and doesn't take up much space in the drawer. The 4 inch wheel is stainless steel and sharp enough to cut pizza and toppings easily. It isn't "razor sharp" (stupid marketing hype) as that would be dangerous. It's about as sharp as a well used paring knife, but since it's easy to apply force downward on the cutter, that's as sharp as it needs to be. The aqua color is nice at $12, while charging $35 for the same thing in red is ridiculous. I recommend giving this cutter a try. I think you'll like it. I do.Update. After 2 years of weekly use, half the plastic axle broke off. That made it pretty hard to use. I drilled the axle out and replaced it with a 1/4" bolt and wingnut. Works as good as new now. I imagine all the similar products of this design suffer from the same durability flaw, but they work well for a good while.

It works perfect, glides through your food and it has the ...
it arrived very quickly. I had ordered the Breadman bread machine from QVC and the breadman makes bread/dough/jam. I am going to start making my own pizza dough. I ordered a new pizza pan to replace my 20 year old pizza pan and then I ordered the pizza cutter.I had an old pizza cutter that did not have a cover for the blade, so when you reach into the drawer, it posed a small hazard. I have used the new cutter twice, to cut a pizza and to cut biscuits! It works perfect, glides through your food and it has the plastic shield to cover the blade. I love that safety feature!I would recommend this to anyone who bakes, cooks or even orders pizza for delivery. Sometimes my pizza shop does not cut all the way through the pie. Plus the cost is affordable and it is easy to use.

Better than using a knife for many things
I bought this to make it easier to cut food for my kids into small chunks. I find it's actually much easier to use than a knife for things that are flat - pita, toast, bread, waffles, pancakes, chicken nuggets, turkey, deli meat or even cheese. I like the protective cover that keeps the blade from becoming dull while in the utensil drawer. The thing I like most about it is the ergonomics of it. Since the handle is on the top of the blade there is no pressure on your wrist when pushing down to cut through something a bit stronger. As kids get older I plan on letting them use this instead of a kitchen knife to cut their own food in a safer manner. The blade is sharp enough to easily cut without requiring much pressure.
