Smells like church. The best I found so far, can’t understand negative reviews

I am so happy that I ordered this Frankincense and Myrrh. It has a nice and balance aromatic feel and smell in the atmosphere. This is truly a sacred gift from God. Amen. Highly recommended.

Read all of the reviews. You will see a lot of good ones, but you will see a lot of bad ones as well. I hate to add to the bad ones because I really wanted to burn some frankincense and myrrh, but this cannot be the real deal. At first, it is sweet and soothing, but that smell only lasts about 10 seconds and the rest of the burn is rancid and plastic like. I have been burning incense for almost 2 years now and I have been going to church for 12 years and I know frankincense and myrrh. I don’t know if the supplier has good days or bad days or if they add any kind of additives, but this is absolutely atrocious. The first day I got it and I burned it. My family said they did not like it. But with the price that I spent, I did not want to admit it so I persevered and kept burning it but now while I’m reading the Bible and I burned some more this is just absolutely horrible, it’s giving me a headache and it’s starting to smell like burning plastic more than incense. Do not waste your money or risk your health with this. If you want good frankincense, get it from “ the royal incense” it’s a purple bag and it’s always good. I was trying to find someone that sells a pre mix bag of frankincense and myrrh, but I guess I haven’t found it yet.

Product arrive very timely and was a great value for the price. I am a novice when it comes to rating frankincense and myrrh, so I won’t claim to have the expertise. However, I was looking for a mixture that was spicier. I could be missing ingredients. Our Catholic Church used a very fragrant and spicy combination. This product is fragrant but the spicy fragrant notes hit much later and gets lost a bit in the Smokey smell. Burn time and longevity is great. Used a teaspoon amount and it burned beyond what I ever thought it would. If you’re looking for a more fragrant and spicy combination I would potentially look into adding to this mix, or searching for a different one. I am very happy with this product and any “con” I may have could be due to my expectations being outside of what frankincense and myrrh alone smells like burned. Great base to start with! Thank you
