Great Chicken run cover
Put this over our chicken run since we live in Az to give them shade. It is cooler under this fabric and air can still flow through it so it doesn't get stuffy.

Hello cool shade!
I have used this informal and recreational settings to keep my vehicle, electronic equipment, and myself cool. When friends suggest fetching pop up tents from their vehicles, I stopped them and grab this instead. It is much better than just being in the shade. It is also much easier to move in order to stay in shade if necessary. A couple good clips and it is there with no issues. It allows good airflow and stays many degrees cooler than simple shade. When I use it on my vehicle, my vehicle stays 10 to 20 degrees cooler including on 95 Degree Days. I used tarp clips and versatile tent poles to set it up in different places. I would suggest getting the largest one you can afford. Because there's no such thing as too much shade.Sep 2022 Update: I have had this over a year, use it in a variety of ways at least once a week and you cannot see the wear. It has been out in rain, big weather, and more than a few weather events that ripped canopies away. I am buying the next size up and gifting mine to someone. 10x14 is large enough to cover all the glass on my van, but I'd enjoy some more material so I can cover glass and have an awning. I've tested its efficacy with Govee brand Bluetooth temp gages inside and outside. In 90+ degree weather and sunlight, with fans and good airflow, I can keep the van around 80 to 85 degrees. There is no substitute for responsible monitoring, so don't just assume things are fine and leave a pet unminotired under it. When my dog is resting, I have alarms and am nearby. This past weekend, it was 85 and I had to park in direct sunlight with limited breeze. My van only got to 73 degrees. Away from my vn, I routinely use tarp clips and big construction looking clips to hold it on whatever. Trees, easy ups, the side of my house, it is just too good a shade to use anything else. The light diffusion is enough to read electronics and computer screens under it in bright daylight. More recently, I used it to diffuse light and keep cool while I took a bunch of photos. It was excellent. I particularly enjoy painting outside while under it. I get the benefit of sunlight on the pigments without the eyestrain.

Brings the shade to you
I got this for keeping my dogs cool in the car during the summer- I do a class with them that goes to different locations each week and there's not always shade to park in. I've seen these types of shade cloths plenty of times at agility shows and figured it was finally time for me to invest in one. The 10x12 size is just shy of perfect for my 2018 Forester- the width is good (it extends just past the bottom of the side windows on both sides), but it can't quite fully cover both the front and rear windshields. If it were 10x3 or 10x14 it would be even better. But, I can still get full coverage by putting up a sunshade inside the car, so it works. It's still early in the summer and we've barely hit 70 so far, but it does seem that with adequate airflow this keeps the car nice and cool, even in full sun.

Survived Burning Man. Grommets don't line up.
We bought 6 of the 10x20' version, stitched them together into a 30x40 grid and laid them over the top of our shade structure at Burning Man. As others have mentioned, the grommets don't line up. They are close, but the spacing isn't correct. We made it work, but it's something to be aware of.Beyond that they worked fine. It was windy this year, but they were laying on top of something, so they weren't getting pulled on too hard. We just had them (loosely) tied down with bungies so they had flex. We stiched them together with zip ties. Made a huge difference in heat.

This works wonderfully
I bought a canopy to shade my dogs and I from the sun at the different dog shows I go to. The canopy came with a wall. However, that wall becomes a sail in windy conditions. I had seen several others with these Aluminet shade panels. I had them on my wish list for a while, but never invested in them. After the wind took my previous canopy and broke it in 4 - 5 pieces (though I had shortened it, took the βsailβ off and had it staked to the ground), I bought another canopy and I had decided to spend the money on one of these shade cloths. I love it! I have some other tarps that have sun deflectors on one side of them. They deflect more heat than this one does but they are not large enough. This Jesasy 70% 10β x 20β Aluminet Shade Cloth Panel letβs the wind pass through and keeps us cool in the heat under the canopy. This is perfect! But I do have to warn you. The material is slightly fragile. It caught on my dogs x-pen a bit and it tore a little. But, it is still working just fine for what I need. I would highly recommend it.

Works great, but not forever...
After one year my 10x20 started to shed tiny aluminum flakes all over the yard, especially when it rained. Granted, I'm in Phoenix, AZ where the sun eats regular tarps for breakfast and it very rarely rains. The silver snow was actually kind of pretty, but also slightly concerning, as one of my cats likes to hang out under it and was no doubt ingesting it when daily bath time came. Could have very well been the reason I had to spend $700 at the vet to discover she had struvite bladder crystals. "Bob" only knows. At any rate, at just over the two year mark the gradual disintegration quickly turned fatal. After one good rain, it completely split from the side seams on two sides. Having said that, I just ordered and put up a second one feeling the great functionality of keeping 70% of the sun off while still letting the light in and the air flowing (even if only temporary) outweighs the overall bi-annual cost. Praise "Bob"!!

Really keeps cool in and heat out.
I used this to keep my car cool so I could leave my dog safely on a hot day at a training event.I covered my car and left the windows and boot open. The car was really cool. Cooler than in the house. It was like magic.

Thanks, exactly what i needed. Good value :) Update 2 years later....the mesh is now so brittle it's falling apart. Pity, i really liked this product. I guess you buy cheap you get cheap. Will end up buying another out of need, it really does work
