HI-TECTec Storm Waterproof Walking Boot Mens Boots

I initially bought Hi-Tec boots because of the price. Now because of the comfort and fit I wear them all the time. I walk my Dog 6 to 8 kilometres daily and my last pair endured for almost two years. Hi-Tec fit perfectly right out of the box, they offer great support and stay dry. They also remain odour free during the life of the boots. The boots also retain a fair amount of their initial looks, they don't look scruffy even after such prolonged daily wear. You could pay much larger sums for other boots and not get the same results. They are perfect for the use I put them to.

These boots were advertised as wide-fitting. I have had previous Hi-Tec footwear that was wide-fitting although not specifically described as such, so I expected these to fit well, especially as I bought a men's size 6 which is already slightly bigger than the equivalent women's size that I would normally get. I usually find this results in a wide enough fitting to be comfortable for me in a walking boot. The fitting was no wider than any other normal walking boot and, in fact seemed to have a tight seam right across the widest part of the foot which made the boot feel tight in a band across thewidest part of my foot. This would likely cause pain and rubbing on longer walks, so I returned them for refund. If you have wide feet, I do not recommend these boots. It is very hard to find comfortable wide-fitting footwear at a reasonable price and especially disappointing when an item is advertised as wide-fitting but is not. On the plus side, nice to see a spare pair of bootlaces included.

Considering the price I wasn't expecting much from these, and really only purchased them for walking the dogs. Have worn them multiple times and was amazed at how comfortable they are. My only gripe would be that after wearing them all day they can leave your feet a little sweaty. Will definitely purchase again.

I love these boots. I've had about 4 pairs of these already and I love them. I'm a size 9 so have problems finding my size being a woman with big feet but these are perfect fit. They are waterproof and comfortable and easy to walk in.

My partners feet are very wide and it’s difficult to get him right shoes. That’s a shame you don’t do half’s in sizes and it would be just perfect

Hi Tec are my usual got for out door footwear, these were a tad small or should i say narrow and took quite a while to break in about 20 miles with a bad blister on little toe, there was an option for a wider fitting of this model at all the regular sizes so I dont why they would offer it unless they got something wrong, but so far now they are bedded in am happy but if were to purchase again wouid go for the wider option.
