Voodoo Tactical Buttstock Cheek Piece, Black

Fantastic. This is the third one of these that I've bought (3 different scoped, fixed-stock rifles). It is widely adjustable, straps down tight and does not move around. The Velcro is industrial strength and the stitching is well-done and strong. Velcro buckles are high quality. It could use some instructions, but after 2 minutes I figured it out. Just realize that in order to adjust the 3 Velcro straps, you need to put your finger between the two types of Velcro so that you can slide the strap through the retaining loop. It's also a good idea to put the extra spacer pad (if needed) on top of the 4 Velcro straps (the 4th is the one sticking out the end). Once adjusted, it can easily be removed and reinstalled as needed.

Once you figure out the install since no instructions come with it, you are golden. These are really good and a real value as well. Fit is super customizable. I have about ten of them now on a variety of rifles. Not a five because of the lack of instructions but you can Youtube it. These are an easy 5 star with a one sheet instruction page.

As mentioned by o thers, no instructions. To get it on my stock, with the velcro attachments straps were covered with the top piece all together made the piece too bulky and wide for my liking. I much prefer the cleaner look of the neoprene sleeve types.

This cheek riser is great. It is easy to adjust and works well on regular rifle stocks. It is also very affordable and I would not hesitate to purchase another one if needed. I no longer have to raise my head to see clearly through my scope. This cheek riser solved the problem.

Product came with no instructions so I took off two stars for that. It took a few minutes to figure out how to install it but once I did, it fit on my rifle stock well. Saying that, it moved a bit on the .338 Win Mag stock at the range due to the straps being too short to firmly and consistently hold onto the rest. The extra cheek piece was useless particularly when trying to install it with the original cheek rest because the straps were too short to consistently hold all of it tightly together. Overall, it's not a bad product but it should have come with instructions, longer straps, and higher quality padding.

This is a very good product. It shipped quickly and was packaged well.There is no way I would give this cheek rest less than 5 stars. It served it's purpose very well. It fits the stock on my Savage Model 64 perfectly and lifted my eye to the correct position to see my scope. It improved my accuracy. That is all I expected and it delivered.My only complaint is the same as most of the reviewers I have read on here. It needs some very basic instructions for installation.YES I figured it out. It didn't take a long time and once I got it I said wow this was a no brainer. And it really was but I still wasted time at home doing trial and error that I could have wasted at the range shooting at targets. You Tube generally solves most problems but this one failed. The guy cuts off the camera until he gets the thing installed and then restarts his review. Really helpful. Certainly not YouTube worthy.Bottom line this is an excellent product for a good price. If I change scopes on one of my rifles or buy a new rifle this is the cheek rest I will look to buy again.

Not so much because there was anything wrong with the product, it just didn't do diddly squat for my application. Installed it on my Savage .308 as I needed 1-5/8" rise to properly align my eye with the scope. This thing kept moving every time I pulled the trigger. When you're shooting a 2 moa target at 1000 yds, that's crap man. Again, nothing wrong with the product itself. It's pretty well made and serves it's intended purpose, just doesn't serve mine at all. I now use a home made cheek rest made from those little foam tubes used to insulate 1/2" copper pipe. Similar to a pool noodle. Anyway, mine is 4 levels high and held in place with a self adhesive bandage wrapped about the stock and topped with a piece of moleskin so the recoil doesn't rip my cheek apart. Get the foam from Home Depot, or buy a 99 cent pool noodle. The self adhesive bandage is better known as a "sprain wrap", and the moleskin sheets are found in the bunion dept. They come in a 4-5/8 x 3 something pad. About $5 should get er done.

I read a number of reviews. The most negative ones were from folks who complained about no instructions. If you need instructions for this item, you shouldn't be handling firearms at all.

Das Material und die Verarbeitung des Artikels ist eigentlich in Ordnung. Nur mit den beigefügten Befestigungsbändern lässt sich das Cheek Rest Pad nicht wirklich fest genug am Hinterschaft befestigen. Hier sollte sich der Hersteller ein praktikable Befestigungsmöglichkeit einfallen lassen.

Nice design, good cheek rest. But velcro straps need to be re-adjusted from time to time.

Bought for Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmore. Bought a 50mm scope and had to raise the stock for a proper alignement and cheek weld. This is stiff out of the box but it fits really well in the stock (once you figure out how to install, there are no instructions, but scroll down the reviews and a great reviewer explains the process step by step with pictures!).Honestly, for the price, it’s a really good product and seems well made!
