COGO Caffeinated Hot Chocolate, 50 one ounce envelopes

I’ve tried other caffeinated hot chocolates and this tastes better than anything. Not only that, it tastes better than any other hot chocolate I’ve ever tried, including my mom’s growing up! I wish this came in decaf so I could drink it in the evening as well. I am addicted to this stuff and freak out every time it’s out of stock!I hate coffee so this is my caffeine kick for the day. After having 3 kids, I decided I couldn’t function in modern society without caffeine. This stuff has not only given me the caffeine I need, it’s made me look forward to waking up in the mornings. Sitting in the sun room or at my desk with CoGo in hand, looking out over the back yard, I have figured out all of the world’s problems. It won’t be long till I’m President!Update 8/19/2021 - my conquest to find a decaf substitute continues. I’ve tried Starbucks, Nestle, Swiss Miss, Ghirardelli but none come close enough to my precious little CoGo. It’s honestly to the point where I don’t want to live on this planet anymore if CoGo were to ever go away. Drinking this is the best part of my day. No exaggeration.

I have never liked the taste of coffee, but I love hot chocolate. When I first came across Swiss Miss Pick-Me-Ups at the grocery store, I thought my problem was solved. Who wouldn't want to wake up with the taste of hot chocolate which actually had the same amount of caffeine in it as a cup of coffee? I bought these boxes off the shelves like my life (and job) depended on it, until one day I realized they were being discontinued. After months of complaining and many many sleepy mornings that just seemed to drag on at work, my girlfriend actually surprised me with a box of Cogo. A large box with 50 packets. What a life saver!! The taste is fantastic, very comparable to Swiss Miss, and the effects from the caffeine are tremendous. I can now wake up at nearly any hour of the morning, and COGO keeps me awake, alert, and productive. Thank you for creating this wonderful product for the non-coffee drinkers!

What I love most about this is the fact that it’s not too sweet. It tastes so delicious. Perfect for anytime of day that you need a dose of caffeine, especially in the morning.

I got this for my high schooler to help give a kick in the morning. I had purchased a similar product by VIVA a couple of years ago, but the idea didn't catch on until this year. This tastes like normal hot cocoa but it does not mix as easily. I tried using a shaker bottle to break up the clumps, but that made the consistency of the cocoa bad (it seemed like 'gelled' up and was abnormally think at the bottom of the cup). I will finish up the box, then see if there is something else similar next time.

I admit this cocoa was not cheap by all means. It was well worth the cost for it. I purchased 2 cases to save on the shipping costs and get a better overall deal per packet. So buy 2 cases or more. I drink this every morning and mix it with a little of my instant coffee for an added kick. Also this tastes great in a blender as an iced Cocoa / Coffee mocha. I add a little bit of creamer and a dash of cinnamon. Give a nice lift that lasts a few hours. What are you waiting for? Buy this now!

I love caffeine but detest coffee, so I'm left with few options to get me out of bed in the morning. This hot chocolate does the trick. I have two cups, and I'm ready to go. It's the best-tasting hot chocolate I've ever had -- it's very creamy, and I use only water. It does have sugar, so you have to be mindful of that. It's a very decent coffee substitute, and even if you don't want to replace coffee entirely, it's a good once-in-a-while treat.

Hoping this product returns to Amazon! It is great to have a 'coffee alternative' for someone who needs the caffeine of a regular cup of coffee, but does not like coffee & does not like or want the extra sugar, caffeine & chemicals of energy drinks. It must be noted that this Cogo should be made with no more than 6 oz of water, otherwise it will be too watery. We often made a full mug, but added a bit more of our own favorite cocoa brand to thicken it up to desired creamy chocolate-ness.

My usual caffeine hot chocolate was out of stock so I decided to try this one. Unfortunately this one doesn’t taste that good. It’s kind of artificial tasting. What really grossed me out was when I took a sip after some time I felt some weird specs in my mouth and I looked down to see some white clumps form on top of my mug. I stirred it how I usually do so I’m not sure what caused that.COGO is a NO GO for me.
