Just a quick review update. Thanks to a fair bit of shrinkage in our boil wash, these are now a much better fit. I would still say that "L" would have been the choice for me with my 39" waste and will be buying three soon. These are certainly more generous in sizing than the equivalent M&S product, but are much better value.Original review:Five stars for sheer value. I bought XL as my new M&S 'L' similar shorts are a touch tight; 'L' in these would have been perfect. That's just my luck! But these are well-made, comfy 'shorty' pyjama bottoms that are not too thick to be hot but yet still substantial. For the price (half that even of M&S) they are a bit of a bargain.

For shorts to wear around the house these are great. Arrived promptly, 100% cotton and very comfortable.After reading some other reviews which said they were quite large (eg a medium is more like a large, a large is more like an XL etc) I deliberately ordered a size smaller than I would usually wear and I'm glad I did as they fit perfectly so if you're thinking of buying them I suggest you do the same.

The most comfortable, best-fitting shorts I've ever owned. They are very thin, and quite see-thru in certain light, and since I never wear underwear I'm pretty sure my man-parts are now well known to my neighbours, the postman, and the lady in the corner shop. However, I don't care since they are so damn comfortable! I suspect they may not last long, since being so thin they are sure to wear out after a few trips through the washing machine, and the tie-string is particularly feeble and will doubtless snap like a frayed shoelace eventually. But this didn't put me off. I just bought a couple of extra sets since they are so, so, so blooming comfortable!

Great bedtime shorts as they are extremely light and comfortable.I wouldn't wear them outdoors as they are very revealing around the front even as at best an average man on a good day.I've washed them about 8 times now and they are still holding together well.

"Baggy" very much being the best descriptive term for these shorts.They are constructed from a very thin cotton material, which is ideal for warmer nights but virtually devoid of shape or, structure.Despite a lightly elasticted waist (which has a draw cord,) the waist size remains very generous.Unless you have a huge tummy, I would definitely lean towards a slightly smaller size.Not only would I not wear these shorts out but, for anyone planning an amorous entrance in the bedroom - these might not be my first choice 🤦🏻‍♂️

It's a very comfortable material, nice and soft, it will stretch which is a good thing. Overall well made and high quality shorts for a good price.

Arrived on time and well protected parcel. Good quality for the price and perfect for what I need. Used for working out in, worn over Nike pro leggings. They do come up a bit bigger than expected so I have ordered another pair in medium, 32 - 34 inch waist. Will use the others as pyjama bottoms. Good job thanks.

I initially bought a set that was a pair of shorts and t shirt. They are nice feeling material, and comfortable to wear. The t shirt was a bit warm during some unusually mild uk weather so i decided to save it for winter and bough a couple more pairs of shorts to wear with vet tops.Some may consider the shorts a little large, they are quite loose and baggy but thats just what i wanted for evening and bed wear, very comfortable. They also have a drawstring so if you find the a little loose you can tie and tighten them around your waist.
