Aoosir Small Floral UPF 40+ Parasol

This is the most oddly designed umbrella I have ever seen. I bought it for my daughter to use at college, but honestly, I don't even know if it will be usable. It does not fold up well at all. When folded back up you can BARELY get the Velcro strap back around it to hold it closed. I'm sure it will not be long before that rips off, because it has to be pulled so hard. It comes with a cute sleeve to hold the umbrella when not in use, but you will literally never be able to use this once you have opened the umbella, because it will be about 3-4 times too big for it. The umbrella's folding design is to blame. Like I said, I have NEVER seen an umbella designed in this way. I don't think I can describe it other than to say it seems to have an extra folding joint in the metal braces, and that joint folds backwards. It makes it extremely hard to open up quickly, because you have to shake and manually straighten each joint. NOT what you want to have to do when it raining out! Other than all that, it's a very cute umbrella and seems to be high quality material, so it's really a shame that it is designed so poorly. I would not recommend buying this.

This is a great umbrella for blocking the sun and the floral design us really cute. I haven't tried it in the rain yet because I'm in Arizona so no need. It does feel cooler under it. I did not notice a chemical smell as stated in other reviews but as in other reviews once opened it does not fit back into the sleeve well. I got it once but then ripped the seams on the sleeve. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

It worked well for my wife in the Texas sun. People frequently stopped to tell her how attractive it was. It does not fold back up properly. She used a big rubber band. So it's 4-5 stars if you don't care about undoing and redoing a rubber band or some other tie and that it takes up more space due to not folding fully. If you do care about those, it's 2-3. Keeps the sun off.

I am very happy with this parasol. I used to carry a parasol that was made for the mild conditions of Japanese summers, but I live in a city in which bright sunlight and strong winds can be a bad combination for such a delicate parasol. This parasol can withstand very strong winds. I like that it has a black lining, even though it does have a strong plastic smell. I hope that it is not off-gassing. Luckily, I don't have to use it too often. As an aside, I brought this parasol with me to NYC this summer and it served as a great rain umbrella there.

it's just ok. It provides coverage but its just a pain in the ass to put close and put away. I have yet to put it back in its sleeve because its impossible. But even just closing it is awkward. So that is annoying. It's pretty and keeps the sun away when I need it, but i wouldn't recommend it, unless you don't care about storing it properly.

LOVE this umbrella, so cute, can't wait to use this summer. I bought the beige but the color is a little darker than in picture. You have to be carefully when closing the umbrella so you don't rip the black under material and the closING strap.

Purchased this for my sister who lives in Florida and loves to walk outside. It blocked the sun perfectly and she enjoyed her walks more!

The thick plastic vinyl underside of this umbrella made it very unpleasant to fold and store. Not to mention the sticky texture, the plastic bunches out and has that "squeaky-ness" to it. The shape and color of the umbrella is really cute if you don't mind the vinyl.
