Fantastic battery. I had to replace my battery for the original 3DS because it would only have about 10 minutes of battery life and it eventually expanded. This battery is a fantastic replacement. Last a long time, fits perfectly, and the screw driver works fine. Highly recommend this battery

Opening the N2DSXL was a real pain -- needs a 00 triwing (smaller than usual one though the big one worked for me), then you've got 2 sets of power connection plus a ribbon cable. Then getting the battery out was TOUGH! Thought I was gonna ruin the device just trying to break it from the adhesive. Finally it popped out, connected everything back together, let it charge & worked like a charm! Haven't tested it for longevity but it atleast works. Assuming the nearly 2.5x mAhs of this battery will speak for itself.

The good: • The battery fit correctly The bad: • they don't even give you the right screwdriver making installation a pain lol • Battery life is atrocious. Full benchmarking shows an average of about 4-5 hours without 3D which is comparable to the original battery, but not the ≈2.5x capacity they claim. • The listing is full of misinformation. Aside from the capacity being a lie, they also tell you to "train" it by "fully charging and discharging at least 8-10 times". I don't know if it's just bad advice or an attempt to get people to not discover how bad the battery is until it's outside the return window, but DO NOT DO THIS. This is actually REALLY bad for lithium batteries on a chemical level and is probably why you see other reviews claiming the battery starts fully dying after 6 months. • There seems to be micro controller spoofing to make you think they aren't lying, so be aware the battery will take about 4 hours to drop to 50% and then drop from 50 to 0 in about 30 minutes. • reputable 3rd party vendors mostly only produced these batteries in a 1300-2000mAh capacity, so just be wary of anything claiming more than that. Especially if it's the same price as all of the other batteries.

The battery fit perfectly but I had some dificulte using the included screw driver. Ended up buying a precision screwdriver set. Performance is good and better life is extended as you would imagine and console started up no issues. Only issue was the difficulty in installation due to the screwdriver.

Went into my 3DS no issues and works great! Charges fine and I have had no issues with use.

Arrived quickly. Was super easy to install. The screw driver is eyeglass size, but worked great. So far working very well. I'm pleased.

Useless as the tool/screwdriver it comes with does NOT fit the console.
