Stirring and temperature warning!!!
The instructions aren't kidding when they mention that you need to stir, stir, stir! (3 minutes couldn't hurt...) AND temperature is of even greater importance, I think. Make sure everything (your work, the items that you are embedding, and the resin) is at LEAST 75'F. (I think instructions say 70'?...) I'm pretty sure I got a sticky (non-curing) batch at 70'. ?.. I have to use a space heater in the winter to heat up the room. Also.. don't try super-small batches... (ie. 1 oz total?) It doesn't cure as well....You should also experiment with cheaper resins from the hardware store. (I think they call them bar-top resins... (2-part.. equal parts.. just like the Ice resin.. ) They cure just a hard, but with maybe an ever-so-slight tint. (no noticeable for smaller work in my experience..)above all: practice, practice, practice! I've used this product about ten times, and I still learn something every time.Good luck!

ICE Resin Epoxy
I really like this ICE Resin Jewelers Grade Clear Casting Epoxy. It is very easy to use and it sits up in less time than the regular resin epoxy. It is more expensive to use so I only use it for small things.

Very easy to use, hardens perfectly, clear and glossy. Using it for bottle cap necklaces. Nice not to have to measure it.

Ice clear and fills ten Tierra Cast bezels
This ICE Resin 1 oz Single is a simple push and stir - no mixing required resin. It comes out clear as ice and drys clear any bubbles are few and can easily be popped quickly and then let it sit till it dries a wonderful clear transparent ICE resin to show whatever you choose to put in the Tierra Cast bezel, or whatever bezel you choose to use. I just prefer TC bezels. There are other resins, but this one never fails and it's so easy to use because there's no mixing involved. I've used it for years ... it's not the only one I use, but it's one of the few I'll use with the shallow bezels because it never fails to give a great result, never messy, never turns yellow or white. It's just a great product - I'd highly recommend!
