I got this set of magnets for my very basic garage door. They were easy to apply, and the faux windows had a huge impact - I loved the look.Within about a year, though, they were peeling (see pictures). They face East, so they do get direct sunlight every morning, but not that much, given the angle of the house that overhangs them, and the house across the street.However, I was able to pull the peeling layer off and retain the magnets for a similar look to the original. There’s a residue around the edges from the glue, which I haven’t tried cleaning off yet.But for something designed to be on the outside of your house, I was surprised that they didn’t have more longevity.

We just sided our garage and are not yet able to replace our door, so I ordered these “decorations”. Unlike others I saw online, the hardware pieces are actual 3-D pieces. Like the others, the “windows” are flat magnetized sheets. Although it didn’t come with instructions, this was soooo easy to install. I did it in 10 mins. (To ensure everything was aligned). I texted my husband a photo and he thought that I was sending him a picture of a new door! It was so realistic that he attempted to use the handles to lift the door when he came home and almost fell down laughing when he realized that everything was just a magnet LIC decoration. So happy with the look!

These are very nice. I would have given this a 5 star, but I had to remove the handle because they get caught when the garage door slides up. I have gotten several complements from neighbors.

I followed the directions, boiled the magnets, and placed them in books prior to putting them on the garage door. As I was taking them out of the water I noticed that some of the black stickers either shrank or started peeling back. We placed them on the garage door to see if they would still look good. The next morning the black stickers had started completely falling off the magnet. The door handles are super cute and look great, the window magnets were an epic fail!

The magnets aren't really strong, but they hold well enough on the garage door. The window magnets were bent in the box because they used a long and very narrow box just wide enough for the faux hinges. The squares were bent in both orders of this product. I thought they would flatten out in the sun over a couple of days, but they didn't. This wouldn't happen if they just used a flat box. Makes no sense.

I updated my white metal front door with these to match my garage door now my front door looks like a barn door to match the garage

This product came with a lot, made out garage look pretty. We did not use the center handle magnets though. The window magnets came curled on the edges which made it difficult to flatten them to be flush with the garage, once we got them some what flat it was easy to apply and they have stayed through some storms.
