They are very good but the size... the smaller the links (prongs) the more effective. The trainer showed me on my own hand: smaller links have a stronger 'message' to the dog. I love my dog, this does not hurt her but by teaching her obedience I make sure a) I don't fly behind her, b) she is safe by walking heel and not wondering away next to traffic, etc. BTW, they don't hurt the dog, actually they are safer than traditional collars whereas all the pressure is directed to the front of the neck, the laryngeal area.

Strong metal and easy to use with the buckle

Works fantastic. I ordered the wrong size (thought the small had to do with the Prong Size) and not the length. Large works great for my large 26” neck Mastiff. I pulled 2 links off for a perfect fit! High quality!

I bought this because of the color, despite the other reviews that it becomes unclipped. I should have took the other reviewers warnings. It is on our 105 pound German Shepherd, and it randomly becomes unclipped at the fastener. I haven’t been able to figure out the cause so for his safety it is retired. We have a Sprenger silver SS on the other German Shepherd, that does not have the leather section and it has never come undone randomly.
