Highly recommend for a cheaper alternative to the large lockboxes. It obviously isn't very secure. It is large enough to hold fairly large packages. Lightweight and easy to move if you don't want it permanently outside. You can chain it down, but we just use it to keep the packages out of sight. The locking mechanism doesn't line up very well. We felt it was too much trouble for the postal carrier to use.

But this is a great way to hide packages from would be thieves. Keeps everything nice and neat on the porch.

Being that I have frequent deliveries, getting this item was a no brainer. None of my packages have been damaged. I had this item for 6 months Great buy.

Easy to assemble

It's a big box and the label on top is great, but it has a mesh bottom so rain seeps up through the base, and the top can't be properly closed. The hook for the lock isn't lined up properly with the grommet so you can't latch it at all, meaning the top can fly open in the wind. Really disappointed as being able to close it was the whole purpose.

This is a nice idea. If you really want something a little more durable and that can hold a lot and be little less conspicuous, I would just recommend using a new hinged plastic garbage can. I've been using one for years. I attach it to the side of my porch line the bottom with Styrofoam peanuts and it's so deep that nobody can really reach in there to grab packages easily. Plus people really think it is a garbage can full of garbage and wouldn't think of looking for packages in it. Hinged lid snaps shut and is totally water proof too.

Great concept, just not water or even weatherproof.
