HongDian 525 Blue Metal Fountain Pen Bent Nib, Calligraphy Fude Pen 0.6mm with Converter and Metal Box Set

I'm quite new to fountain pens, but my first was much broader in nib and pretty well built. I got this one due to the finer nib and hearing good things about it for the price.At first I found it a little scratchy, but it seems to have settled a little, and I've discovered that's a frequent difference when using finer nibs compared to larger ones.It writes nice and smooth, with no leaks so far. The build is nice and solid without being heavy.Definitely worth a go for the price!

I bought several fountain pens together as I wanted some for work and a couple at home. This was priced in the middle of them all. It definitely feels the nicest to write with. It has a good weight, length and girth for my hands and I love using it. The only drawback for me is the extra fine nib, which I feel is too fine. I will definitely be buying another one, if I can get a fine nib.

The fine nib writes very smoothly and it's really nice to draw with too. The pen has a nice weight in the hand and feels like it could have cost a lot more. The ink converter works well, and all in all, this is a great little pen. Why pay more?

Bought this for the fine nib. It hasn't disappointed. Smooth writer, has weight to the barrel. A very nice pen.

The pen had inkflow problems from the start and it was scratchy. I also found it quite heavy to draw with (but I'm used to a fountain pen with a plastic body). The converter that comes with it feels cheap and 'plasticky'. On the other hand I liked the look of it, and the funky metal box it came in.

The body is made from aluminium not brass as in description, which make it more light and the colour is more greenish than dark blue.I ordered a Dark Blue Fountain Pen, Extra Fine Nib. and the nib is not a extra fine nib. The pen is writing like a medium nib. Otherwise is writing smooth with plenty ink. I can say is a very good medium nib pen.Disappointed

This was my first fountain pen, and I found it to be perfect. Not too expensive, but surdy feeling and we'll comtructed. Much better than the jinhao alternatives that I subsequently bought.
